They fit my lens and that is just what I needed!
I received 2 lens covers and they fit my 77mm lens just fine. I like that they work similar to the original lens cover. Because this is a larger lens, the attached string is not usable (at least for me).

Saves me from replacing my Canon Cap Cover
I had my new camera just a few days when I had already misplaced my Canon Cap cover. I have used this type of cap before on another camera and it worked so I decided to give this a try. I will say the string isn't as nice as what I've had before, but it does its job. You attach it by one side of your camera and when you take off the lens it just hangs down until you put it on again. Seems like it would be a distraction, but I just seem to forget it. I had seen some versions where the attachments are applied with a sticky adhesive but I didn't want that on my camera and worried about longevity if it is knocked around in my camera case: so this works fine. The string seems strong enough to last.

OK but fiddly to put on and string included is for....???
Fits lens 77mm lens perfectly. However the clip on mechanism used is fiddly and you have to have the lens cap perfectly centred before it will clip in. Much more difficult than the lens caps that I have used in the past. There is a long string loop attached to the lens cap, with no simple way of then attaching the string to the lens itself. It's an easy fix (tied a knot) but still......Overall, does the job but meh....
