PuregroPure & Natural Brown Basmati Rice 5kg

I’m not an expert on brown basmati rice, but to me this rice is everything brown basmati rice should be. I boil it for about 20 minutes and the result is perfect tasty rice every time. So yes, I can definitely recommend.

This brown basmati is excellent value for money. The grains are intact and quite clean (not too much dirt when washing). I've used it in my Instant Pot and the rice comes out great. Individual grains don't stick together.The only issue is the bag. As others have said, it would be nice to have a resealable bag for storage.The best way I've found to store the rice is to cut off the top handle to make an open sack. I leave a plastic cup in the bag and seal the top with a large bag clip. When I need rice, I use the cup to transfer either the amount I need (if cooking a lot) into a jug for washing or transfer an amount to a clip-top box, which is easier to decanter.At least the bag is very sturdy, so I don't need to worry about it breaking or splitting.

Nice fluffy and tasty rice.

The cooked product is akin to American long grain rice.If you like individual burst rice then go for it. It does smell like rice flour/fragrance. I can see it appealing to those who like boiled rice in extra water on the stove but it's not a very good alternative to Chinese/Asian rice.

Really good, but a resealable pack would be an asset.

Very high quality, clean, whole grains that cook to perfection in 15 minutes. Get this wholegrain rice - your microbiome will love you for it!!
