- Compatible with the 1911 5 inch without rail. This holster will NOT fit 1911s that have a rail. The belt attachment can be mounted on belts from 1.5'' to 1.75''

**Q: Will it fit with STI 1911 spartan .45 cal?**
A: John,
Looking at a picture of your 1911 I believe it will fit.  I have several of the Black Scorpion competition holsters and I think they are great.  STI makes a great pistol! I like mine! Good luck!

**Q: Can you switch this to left side for lefties?**
A: The holster is designed for right-handed shooters only.

**Q: I ordered carbon fiber but received plastic kydex ? I sent a email to your info inbox**
A: Those holsters  just have a carbon fiber appearance molded into the Kydex. I don’t know of any made of carbon fiber.

**Q: Will a 5'' 1911 stick out of the bottom of the holster?**
A: My gun doesn't protrude from the end of the holster, hopefully that will help you.
