This is an extremely well-made knife. It balances well, has a comfortable grip and holds an edge.

Traditionally-sized (8 or mor inches) chefs knives are often too large for the small scale cooking I do. From carving small organic chickens and roasts to slicing potatoes and Chopping onions for small batch cooking this knife is perfect.

Sharpest knife in the drawer, perfect size, holds an edge forever, durable construction. I've had mine for over two years and I still love it enough to stop and write this.

I was going to give this as a gift. Although it was in original packaging, the handle looked worn. I didn’t unpackage it, so it might have performed fine- I just didn’t want to give a gift that looked used.

It cuts well and is easy to handle.

FYI- these are made in Spain and weigh 149g / 5.26 ounces. Nice balance, holds a good edge (I haven't sharpened it yet). I bought it at a deep discount at a department store recently while on vacation.
