Cubii JR or JR2+ with Bluetooth Smartphone App Sync, Under Desk Elliptical, Pedal Exerciser, Adjustable Resistance, Portable, Cardio Exercise Machine

I bought a Cubii JR+ and it arrived today August 1st 2022. When it arrived I was surprised to see the sticker on the plastic bag was already torn open and the bag itself had holes in it like it had already been removed from this product once and put back in. Then I found that after adding the device to my app I could not connect to user 1 for some reason. As it turns out you can free up a user by selecting the user on the device then holding down the user button. I investigated in my app a bit and found that usage was already registered for this device in the app for January 20, 2022. The device seems in good condition and I do really like it. As such I am not returning it and giving it 4 stars. However I do not appreciate spending $300 on a new device only to find that it is in fact used.

LOVE IT!!took maybe 5 minutes to assemble. i was online and bluetooth synced almost immediately. very user friendly and intuitive.i got this because i don’t get enough movement when working from home and sitting at my desk all day. while i am still figuring out ideal chair positioning for my cubii, i am SO glad i got it. already i feel good knowing i have some movement and it’s a lot less of an investment/commitment than a walking collapsible treadmill.it’s also whisper quiet.i paid the extra money for the newest version that connected with bluetooth because i knew i’d prefer it and i do. 10/10 would recommend!!

The “Chair Lock” is a rubber donut, secured by a rubber nub — *it has already broken within 10 minutes of use*. Would have expected a rubberized piece of hardware that can be secured by a bolt. It is in no way a “lock”.The entire reason I bought this was the ability to use it in my desk space and it not. Wouldn’t recommend.

Overall I’m very impressed with this under the desk elliptical!! Getting the Bluetooth linked device is fantastic for monitoring my increased activity. Pedaling for a few hours a day makes a big difference in my activity level without too much stress.Really I’d give this a 4.5. I have two gripes so far 1) if I have the Bluetooth enabled device why am I having to manually change resistance settings? I know it’s cheaper and lighter to make it manual buuuuttt it’s super annoying to lock my chair in from rolling and then try to reach down and change resistance. 2) I love that you included the ring to stop my wheeled chair from moving. This really makes a big difference in usability for me. Buuuuut the ring does not stay hooked to the elliptical that little tiny nub in the second picture is supposed to stay hooked into the hole on the front of the device. Does it matter so far? Not in my set up fortunately, just setting a wheel of my chair in the ring is enough but it might matter for someone else. Also getting my chair in the isolation ring and then getting close enough to my desk to comfortably work is kind of annoying :/Over all this does what I want it to do! It’s solidly built and looks to be well manufactured. I have plenty of clearance under my desk which is great because I’ve tried other cheap pedal solutions without much luck. I’ve only been using it a few days so if that changes I’ll update this. But I’d recommend this to anyone trying to up their movement or calorie burn while working at a desk.
