Great sponges. Can be washed an air dried to reuse.
Love these makeup sponges! I use them daily.I do hand wash them often and let them air dry when they get a bit of makeup build up on them. I use a drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid to be sure to get oils and makeup out. They really last a long, long time before I feel the need to throw one away. Good value for your money.

Lots of Dye
The media could not be loaded. Initially, I was impressed with these sponges thinking they were on par with the more expensive brand I normally get. However, I began to notice my makeup color was different after I applied it. I took a brand new sponge and tested it under water and the amount of orange dye that came out was shocking. I’ve not had this issue with the brand name orange sponges. I’ll finish out this pack after thoroughly washing every single one before use and then return to the name brand.

Too porous, not a beauty blender dupe.
These sponges are cute and liked the shape, but they absorb way too much foundation. My makeup costs too much to be using a sponge that sucks it all up even when practically dripping wet. 😩

They do the job and they're a great value!
Once upon a time when I first started wearing makeup, I used to stick to brand name makeup sponges because all of the beauty gurus I watched on YouTube would only recommend those. Eventually, I branched out and started testing makeup sponges from a bunch of different brands trying to find sponges that were good quality while not costing $20 each time I had to replace one. I’ve tried sponges from several random listings across Amazon, and most of them have been good enough. This 12-pack of black sponges falls within that category of “good enough”. They’re not the softest sponges in the world, but they’re thankfully not hard either. They expand to a nice size when you run them under water. I personally prefer the sponges with the flat end, but my mom likes the standard shape and she’s also liked these sponges. For the price, you get 12 sponges (6 of each), so I think they’re worth a try!

Literally can't say anything bad about these. SO worth the price!
I was SO excited to try these out! 10 beauty blenders for $8.99 seems like a real steal to me, especially when the 1-pack of Real Techniques beauty blenders I get from Walmart is literally $6, which I've also included a comparison picture to. This is absolutely worth it in EVERY aspect, since the $1.94 Walmart brand ones are never in stock. Ever. And these blenders feel, look, and work exactly like the Real Techniques one I'd mentioned before, which also happens to have a flat edge to it. The Walmart brand $1.94 one does not have a flat edge (included comparison to this one as well), so I'd say this combination pack is the best of both worlds getting 5 flat-edged ones and 5 round-edged ones. It took me kind of by surprise though, to only get 5 flat-edged ones, but that was my mistake. I didn't look close enough at the pictures/description, but I'm not at all upset. Flat edge, round edge, doesn't honestly make a whole lot of difference unless you're working with powder for baking or something. But even then, you don't need a flat edge to bake.I included a picture of one of these beauty blenders wet and one dry, both with flat edges, and I almost squealed with joy when I wetted it down because it's such good quality; when it's dry, it's not totally rock hard either like some that I've had before, if you'd prefer to use your beauty blenders dry rather than wetted down. It feels, looks, and works exactly the same as the overpriced $6 one. Doing the math makes one blender from this pack equal to $0.89. The Real Techniques ones are 7 times the price as one of these blenders, yet they're the same quality. Insane. And they really don't even have a smell to them! I washed the blender before I used it with dish soap, just in case anything from manufacturing would mess with my skin; I personally find that using dish soap to wash my blenders works the best, as dish soap is usually a de-greaser, and I find that it gets the old smell and stains out of blenders the best. After washing the blender, I used to apply concealer to my face, and everything feels fine! Nothing feels upset or anything, as I tend to have somewhat sensitive skin. And, as you can see from the attached picture, the blender soaked up like almost nothing of the product that I used, and I put concealer on multiple parts of my face. Literally these are some of the best beauty blender's I've ever used. So, is it worth the $8.99? The description says 12 blenders, but the package only includes 10; kind of a bummer, but not a huge deal. I mean, 10 beauty blenders for $8.99, at $0.89 a piece? This amount of beauty blenders will absolutely last me a year. I've read from a few different sources that you should replace your beauty blenders every 3-6 months, so even if you replaced one every three months, you'd get like what, 2 & 1/2 years out of one pack? Even if you replaced them every month, I think it's still worth the price. 12 for $8.99 would have been an even better deal, so I'm sure you might be able to find bigger packs for less money, but it's honestly up to you.I try to give honest, non-biased, comprehensive reviews of the products I receive.
