Jaguar XK8 & XKR Performance Portfolio 1996-2005: Road Test Book

The road tests from contempoary magazines make this the most desirable read on the 96 to 2006 XK8 avaliable. This is a great read and the various road tests by differnt publications give a balanced view of the car over its production lie and the text is much more lively than the formal bboks. The pictures and text for this are much more comprehensive than any of the other books. On the other hand, the new car tests give a best case for the car. If your thinking of buying one, its best to get the book, Your XK8 and You, as this tells you what you need to consider before buying one.

It's a nice to have book(let) that contains lot's of written articles (like from magazines/newspapers) that have been published over the years about the XK8/XKR and a little background information.

This book is a selection of magazine articles drawn from the lifetimes of the XK8&R, some of which are in colour. There is, as one might expect, a lot of duplication and not as much detail as one might hope to find in a fully fledged book.Having said that, it gives a nice summary of how the press saw the car over its production lifetime.

Very useful Jaguar book.A must have if you are after or own this model.Well written and easy to follow.Lots of useful tips and ideas.
