Prince of Persia: Prima Official Game Guide Paperback – December 2, 2008

Ok, while i have not used the strat guide for uses pertaining to the game itself, I do have it very visible, the cover of this guide is very well done, and is in HARDBACK, I highly recommend this if you are a collector of strategy guides as I am, for 3 dollars, this is a great addition.If you are actually needing a strat guide for this game...well then u really should consider your video game playing abilities as the game is very str8 forward, and as you are unable to die, very easy to figure out in the end. this guide was made for pure viewing pleasure.

Very impressed with the way this book is put together. Quality materials are used throughout. From the solid, tight hardcover, to the beautiful glossy pages. Pictures are numerous and well taken. Walkthrough is top notch. If your having difficulty finding all those light orbs, (I was) this is your companion. Great strategy guide, period!

The Prince of Persia Collector's Edition arrived in excellent condition and has a lot of great hints and tricks. A great buy at a great price

I don't know if it's me, but it seems that Prima and Bradygames are getting slack these days.This guide has a beautiful hardcover presentation with the gauntlet on the cover in a metallic finish. There are interviews with the designers as well as game artwork in the back of the guide as well, making this more than your usual game walkthrough guide.The problem is, the maps are sometimes inaccurate, and the achievements for the 360 are described no more than if you examine them on xbox live. It literally repeats the list of possible achievements, in case you somehow forgot how to access them on your dashboard. It does offer some tips for a handful of achievements, but they are of little help. The maps of the light seeds was sometimes off, and I was better off just trying every nook and cranny in the game and hopefully the ones I could not find would be accurate in the guide.I don't know if Ubisoft games are too complex for these guide makers, but the whole point of a guide is to point out everything in the game accurately and clearly. The assassin's creed guide as well as this one somehow managed to get past the editing and went straight to the final draft.This guide still gets a good rating because of the collectible aspect, and the maps aren't as bad as assassins creed, but if you want help with the achievements you will have to go online.

Very visually stunning, movements are smooth and clean, easy playability. Story line is fun & comedic in areas, keeps your attention.

Yo this guide is great very informative when trying to find your way around in the game.

Being that I already own the standard strategy guide, I bought this edition for its extra content.The strategy guide itself does not run in a way that one would expect, with a walkthrough that guides you step-by-step through the game. Rather it tells you how to get through different "area's" of the game and leaves it to the player to decided which route to take. The most important section of the guide that should be considered is the 'Dynamic World' section, which tells you everything you need to know about how this game works. The following sections explain the different "area's," further details on how to defeat bosses, and where to find all of the Light Seeds in each area. The only thing I feel this guide is lacking is detailed suggestions on how to achieve certain trophies.Since buying the collector's edition is all about the bonus content, I have to say I am extremely satisfied with what it includes. The hardcover is gorgeous and the art print that is included is of high frameable quality. The back of the book contains pages of beautiful and inspirational concept artwork, as well as interviews and explanations on the production of the game which I found very informative and interesting.This is definitely a must-buy for any great fan of this game, and the price is amazing!

O livro é excelente, exatamente o que esperava, no estado descrito pelo vendedor (usado, mas em bom estado). A única razão de não atribuir 5 estrelas é a entrega, que demorou bastante tempo (chegou no limite do tempo previsto).

Item arrived as described.It seems like the piece of concept art included in the attached envelope part of the book is chosen randomly, since the picture i got was different from an unboxing video i had seen. But I love the concept art of this book anyway, and this guide book includes a small Artbook section at the end of it!

Ce livre comporte une grande partie sur le guide du jeu "Prince of Persia" sorti en 2008.Puis quelques pages sur le "Making of a new prince" qui prend en compte toutes les étapes de fabrication du jeu et des interviews.Et en dernier un magnifique "Art gallery".Le livre contient également une photo d'un des décors du jeu, a peu près au format A4.

I bought this guide from a seller inside Amazon, and I was delighted with the piece of art it is by itself. I can't rate how helpful the contents are because I have long finished the game, and only wanted it to complete the "collection". The hard cover is lavishly designed and the paper quality is very good. I only wish that every merchant inside Amazon used the same packing as Amazon itself, to ensure proper protection of hard cover books (specially the corners).

Book is in excellent condition. Delivery was fast. Everything went pretty well. I am a big fan of PoP. I've played them all.
