I bought this a few months ago but waited before I did a review.Great idea and perfect for a small garden so thought it would be perfect for my garden and looked forward to great crumbly compost.The idea is that you turn the drum to mix the garden waste, however when I did this the lid came off dropping the contents all over the floor, so I spent half an hour picking up slimy decomposing kitchen/garden waste, so I tied a bungi cord around the drum to prevent the lid coming off.There’s a tap at the bottom to allow the ‘juices’ to drain out so you can use it as feed.This weekend I realised that there was no juice in the tub so I opened the drum to find the contents of satans bowels, the stench was indescribable and I’m sure I saw some creatures swimming about in the gloup, the drain was blocked and the tub was full.I managed to drain the gloup into a bucket but the drain is still blocked, I’m not even going to be attempt to clear it till summer.So, easy to put together, great idea but I don’t think I’m going to get the rich crumbly compost I imagined I’d get.I’d not recommend or buy again but it has provided hours of amusement for my friends who watched me draining the gloup.

Neat and tidy solution to composting in a small garden. Rotary design makes it easy to mix and aerate the contents. Fairly easy for one person to put together. I don’t know yet how well the composting process will work as there’s no direct contact with the soil, but I’ve added activator so I’m hopeful. If not I’ll get some tiger worms.

So easy to assemble. Love the size, not too big and easy to access the hatch. Very sturdy, I just spin it every few days and hoping to get results in the next 6 weeks 😃

Fiddly to put together. It's easier when cats and significant other are banned from helping!Very solid and durable once put together.Instructions were relatively clear and easy to follow.

Very dissapointed. Firstly when it came to assembly one of the metal legs was missing its hole - so had to drill one myself as it was one of the last things to attach and I wasn't prepared to take apart and return. Once I had filled it up and rotate the weight of the compost falling only the door section pops open the door and your compost falls out all over the floor. Poor design. Clearly the ability to rotate is why I bought it - now all I do is partially rotate so that the door never ends up at the bottom otherwise it will be popped off.Basic design issue with door - Poor!

Being a newbie composter I wanted something easy, but importantly worked with me having a complex injury. I was initially looking at a much more expensive dual tumbler system but went for this to 'test' making compost.Sturdy for its price, and took 30 minutes to build (defiantly best to have an extra pair of hands). It has a huge aperture to fill and empty making it easy to use. Up to active/hot temperature quickly but that's not surprising with the current weather.First 'batch' of compost ready and looks, feels and smells of good quality. Planning on buying a second one now, so I can be filling one and the other brews it's brown gold.I have to say and excellent buy.

The shell is too flexible and does not lock together well when assembling it. So it distorts. I had to dis-assemble it and start again which was really difficult.When tumbling with a load inside, the locking life fell out. We had to contrive a rope around the circumference to stop that happening. Overall, I can say it is too flimsy.
