I love these sucks. I've worn the same US brand socks for almost 15 years. In fact I still have some of my green sock I brought with my to Iraq in 2004 that are still functional and wearable. They are well made, wear well and are comfortable. At the price they are a deal. The Coyote Brown ones are a bit light, they aren't all that dark and will lighten with washing, but they are distinctly brown compared to the green socks. They are my preferred socks to wear with our Coyote Brown boots. They are true to size. If you want over the calf socks you will need to go up a size. My medium socks go about 3-4" about the top of my boot. My large sock extend almost to my knee.

I was tired of looking for socks and only getting two pairs for a steap price at the clothing store on base. Half the socks there are garbage they slide down all time. I had green socks issued to me when I went through basic and still wear those, they last forever! They do fade a bit and stretch but after that they're durable. I love the initial issue socks and I know these will last me years. I ordered two because how confident I am with this brand. They do sit mid calf but over time should sretch. I wear 9.5 in mens and medium fit perfectly.

Hands down, these are the best boot socks I have ever worn. The silver threading keeps my feet odor and rash free on those long shifts. Like my dad taught me- take care of your feet, they hold everything else up.

The socks are great! Long lasting, made in USA of material that is high performance and reduces odors. The supplier on the other hand (Surplus World Inc.) consistently ships an over-the-calf length product instead of or addition to the ankle length product displayed. Refunds are no problem.

when first get it, it was a bit large. After couple of wears it become smaller and right fit. These socks come in large a little bit, but dont be so quickly to leave a negative review wait after you washed it then the size should be good. Or you can just go ahead wash it before put it on. The socks are very comfortable. exceptional sweat absorb.
