I hunted through Amazon, read SO many reviews, and finally opted for this shelf. I needed the taller shelves, and I didn't want those lips all the way around because I wanted to be able to slide bins on and off easily -- this shelf system fit the bill. It also fit my small space, and my budget.Assembly wasn't bad, but you do need to read the instructions (and a few reviews) to do it right. Make sure you follow the correct process or you will have to start over.It's not SUPER sturdy or strong, but for the money, it is a good value. I am storing macrame cord and craft supplies on it, and it is holding well, but I'm careful not to load each shelf with too much weight. It is not meant for excessive weight -- you will have to spend more if you need that. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase.

Great Shelf, its a smaller shelf so the metal is not super thick and sturdy but great for the smaller size. I did screw a bracket into the wall the help it be more sturdy. Adjustable shelves can be placed where you need them. I did buy another brand, same size and that unit was very thin and cheaply made, that's how i ended up with this shelf, much happier. If it fits your size requirements, its a great shelf.

So pretty, I hate to hide it in the laundry room, but it really holds a lot of items. I did secure it to the wall. I put it together very quickly with no problems.

I'm a big fan of commercial grade wire shelving. I've bought a number of units from both home improvement stores and Amazon and all have been good quality and heavy duty. I have an application where I need a much smaller foot print than the standard sizes. These shelves were the closest I could find for the dimensions I needed. I assumed that these would be the same standard grade shelving as I've purchased before, but as soon as I picked the box up from the porch, I knew something was wrong. It was much too light. These shelves are made of a much smaller gauge wire than the standard wire shelving. The first photo shows the shelving as packaged. I can easily flex the shelving using my hands -- something I could never do with conventional wire shelving. To illustrate the difference, the other photos compare a length of coat hanger wire to the wire used in these shelves. Note that the wire that spans the length of the shelves is smaller in diameter than the coat hanger wire. The wire in the sides, which are an important structural element, are not much thicker than the coat hanger wire. Standard wire shelving has cast metal tubing that threads together to make long lengths. The tubing with this shelving is sheet steel and held together with through-bolts and is smaller in diameter. The last photo compares the coat hanger wire with a standard wire shelf.Bottom line, this shelving is not heavy duty by any means. It may be fine for light duty applications but it is far from standard commercial grade wire shelving.

I wanted a free standing shelf for my kitchen pantry to replace the flimsy pre-installed wall shelving that is currently sagging under the burden of tinfoil, plastic wrap and paper plates. I looked at multiple shelving units and settled on this one primarily because it fit the space as the main criteria. First, beware that this shelf is light weight. The picture makes it appear beefier than real life so I was a little surprised to feel how light weight it was upon arrival. But, buyer beware, the listed weight was about 10+ pounds. It is very light gauge tubular steel and very unlike many traditional units that have segments that screw together with grooved rings allowing running up the tube so each shelf can be customized for height. THIS UNIT HAS FIXED HEIGHTS PER THE PICTURE PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF THIS REVIEW. IF YOU WANT ADJUSTABLE, THIS SHELVING UNIT DOES NOT ALLOW FOR DEVIATION OF SHELF HEIGHT. The fact that is is NOT adjustable does make it easier to assemble because there is no guessing as to wear the plastic supports go to get an even shelf height. It has surprisingly clear instructions which are mainly pictorial in nature. The product is made in China but translation is very good...no confusing verb-noun agreement. Being a 62-year-old retired lady in a wheel chair I was able to assemble easily because it is light weight. I would have to describe the welds at the corners as flimsy because when using a mere 12 oz. hammer to lightly tap the shelves over the white plastic click-in-place shelf holder thingies, two corner wires popped loose. I guess that's' not a bad average: one corner out of twenty but still... I know, it only weighs 10 lbs. but it did say pantry shelf so I am hoping it will hold my canned goods and bins of flour and sugar like a trooper but I am a little skeptical. The ease of assembly offsets its light weight construction. It is the perfect fit for my small pantry so I have high hopes. It occurs to me that this shelf would be great in a linen closet for towels or blankets. Each leg has an integral plastic foot to protect the floor surface. However, they do not adjust. The tubing is about 5/8 inch in diameter and it painted black. Be careful handling the pieces as I did find the painted surfaces are prone to scratching and chipping. Overall not a bad little shelf.

Perfect size for fitting in closets to create additional space. Great for organizing without having to stack on top of other items so now easy to access. Shopping was amazing, had within 3 days oh ordering using just the standard shipping method.

I liked the fact it was space saving and easy to assemble. It be nice if it was sturdier It was used to reorganize our walk in closet.
