The best one out there right now.
The media could not be loaded. TLDR: Stop looking. As of 2024, this is the perfect doorbell. This Eufy Dual-cam wired doorbell is the second wired doorbell Iāve owned, although the first was a different brand. IMHO, itās a major upgrade. This doorbell beats every other one out there right now, for several reasons. It can be used alone, or as part of a security system that includes cameras, spotlights, and sirens, or anything else you want to add using the ITTT system (unofficially/unsupported, but it does work). It has 4Gb of internal storage, which is the second reason I love this doorbell. It stores everything locally, instead of in the cloud. No worries about someone hacking your stuff, and seeing when you come home or leave, so they can ransack your place without being bothered. The list goes on.The next reason I love this, is that it has TWO cameras. The main cam is 2k resolution, and the bottom, or āpackage camā, is 1080p. Both work perfectly, with far less lag than I had with the other one. I always hated that I couldnāt see my packages, and now with the two cameras, I can. Both cameras are AI supported. The doorbell will recognize humans, as well as packages, and gives you a snapshot of the personās face. It will tell you when a package has arrived, and also when someone picks it up, whether thatās you or someone else. There are zero annual fees, and I was previously paying $50/yr for the cheapest plan. So in less than 3 years, Iāll have paid for this by not having to subscribe to a cloud service ā just to use the doorbell I OWN. I can download any and all videos I want, or share them right from the app.Installation was a breeze. Use the included jumper wire to jump the two existing wire connections on the bell chime inside your house. Go outside and screw the baseplate to the house, connect the two wires from your old doorbell to the new doorbell, and snap on the doorbell to the baseplate. Done. The app walks you through setting it up on your phone, and it only took about 3 minutes total. The app itself is easy to navigate, and has loads of options for how to view the cameras, where to store the clips, and pretty much anything you can think of. You can also create groups, search for events, and add any other Eufy device to the app, from cameras to vacuums.Thereās even a new AI-powered option called ācross-camera trackingā that allows you to follow a person automatically as they pass through your area of operation. I havenāt tried that yet, but probably will soon.Bottom line ā I spent several months investigating what I considered the perfect security system, which includes a doorbell that can see guests as well as packages, and indoor and outdoor cameras. I wanted the system to store everything locally, have zero annual fees, and work as well as, or better than, any others. Eufy wins, and nothing else even comes close.Incidentally, I also have 12 other Eufy cams, both indoor and out, and everything works together perfectly.I hope this helps.

Say goodbye to pricey subscription hikes for the same service for free
My Ring Doorbell Pro 2 died after 2 years. To add to injury just got an email that the subscription fees were going up to $50/year. This meant I needed about $300 to regain the service adding both the failed hardware cost plus the new subscription price. I decided to try the Eufy doorbell camera for less than half the price and no subscription fees. In conclusion I am glad I switched. The Eufy camera has better view angle and the second camera does a great job at capturing packages detail. The video recording is similar to Ring. It records several seconds before and after it detects someone aproaching or pushing the doorbell button. Big difference is Eufy records it in 6Gb internal memory as opposed to the cloud. Cloud service subscription is optional. Image is quite clear (2K as opposed to 1536p) both day and night and sound quality is top notch. Also wifi signal is quite stronger than the Ring Doorbell Pro 2, which always showed weak signal. Unlike Ring it requires to bypass the existing chime so you will not be able to use it, however it comes with a chime with several tones to chose from. Sound strenght and tone was similar to my old analog chime. It comes with an optional wedge base but it is 15 degree angle as opposed to 25 degrees (Ring). It does not have the 3D motion detection, bird eye view or more zones but I hardly used these features on the Ring camera.

Unable to connect/ firmware update
Had it for 2 years and all of a sudden stopped working due to a āfirmware updateā which would never update. The app would not load the doorbell but loaded every other Eufy camera that I have. Had to shut the power off to the doorbell camera by shutting the breaker, unwire, attempt to reconnect, delete app, re install app, tried everything you could think of. Found a reddit forum with people having same issues. At the end of the day, now the doorbell camera wont connect to wifi saying its not ā2.4hzā but my internet provider/service never changed. Set up a guest wifi for 2.4hz and still would not connect. Contacted Anker/Eufy, told me I was outside the warranty so other than a discount code, nothing could be done. No point in buying the same product if I know other people including myself is having issues. Now I have to look for a different doorbell camera. The product worked perfectly, but the support (app firmware) must be lacking to support the product. I am pretty sure this should be a recall.

Eufy should make some changes but it is still a good product
I love the eufy wired dual doorbell cam. I wanted wired so I wouldn't have to worry about changing batter packs and I love the dual cam for package protection. The only thing is, I wish there was an option for recording all day instead of only the alerts. If there is a crime across the street for example, I would love to be able to scroll back and catch that to give to my neighbors. But this is not a feature I can do on the wired cam and I don't understand why. Why cant there be a micro sd insert like on wyze cams? Another issue is the speaker on the cam does not project sound well. When i talk through my phone or device to say something to someone at my door, it is hard to understand most times. Motion detection is good and you can change sensitivity level and it was easy to set up.
