Great product - my 9 year old daughter loves these.

Brought these for my 9 yr old daughter thinking they were like Lego+ they are not!The pieces are so tiny and don't fit together well, it's very frustrating as the instructions are not very clear- sometimes you cannot sum up what you have to do in one image!The age rating says a six year old could do it, I would like to meet that child so they could build these dogs for me and I wouldn't have too!!

The actual building blocks are tiny, if you've not played with these before, they're like miniature Lego blocks. The largest block, the one with eight bobbles, is only half an inch long. You gradually get used to the size, but probably not suitable for children under 6 or 7 unless they are especially patient and nimble-fingered. Each of the 8 different dog breeds in the box comes in its own sealed pack with instructions – Poodle, Old English sheepdog, Rottweiler, Retriever, Beagle, Boxer, dachshund and another I can't remember because I gave it to a friend. That's a big advantage – they make nice presents, thinking ahead -- stocking fillers at Christmas, or the main present in a party bag.We haven't made them all up yet. The Old English sheepdog came out beautifully -- chunky and realistic. Uber cute. The instructions come on one sheet for each dog, and are o.k., though we'd prefer it if they came as a book. Still, for the price, I can't imagine anything else that keeps kids quiet and concentrated for so long.

Not actually opened, as a Christmas gift, but I know she will love it.

Ordered 8 dogs, received 4 little horrible spidermen, take a look at the picture, you should have seen the black one's face! The black one is probably Batman, not Spiderman or at least this is what they tried to make, never mind the short legs.Anyways, these things on the photo are definitely not dogs :)
