Works great.
Got these for Lego instructions. They fit nicely in a big binder and the instructions no longer flop out of the top of the normal page protectors I had been using when my kids flipped through it. Very nice upgrade, worked perfectly for what I was wanting.

Works well enough
For context, I bought these to go into a zippered binder to hold games (one game to a pocket). Some of those game books are letter sized (or at least lengthed, 11") booklets. The pocket is large enough to hold things that are 8.5x11" perfectly, but the zipper doesn't open all the way (it's about a quarter inch short) so you have to bend whatever you're putting in if it's a full 11" long. Wasn't /much/ of a problem in my case, but might be depending on what you're putting in the pocket. The binder holes are not quite as close to the pocket as you might like, so they don't quite fit into the zippered binder properly. There's enough room on the tab to add additional binder holes further in, but I haven't tried that yet so I can't say how well it'll work. If you aren't using a zippered binder, or at least aren't zipping it shut, this won't be an issue for you.I've only had them a day at this point so I can't speak to how well they'll hold up, but at first glance they seem to be of good construction and feel fairly sturdy. Unlike some poly pockets I've seen these are made of a poly that feels thick and sturdy, and the expansion is handled without leaving gaps around the edges of the pockets. I don't think they're water proof, but if you spill something on them while they're closed, I think these would do an admirable job of protecting what you've placed inside.

Cons and pros to this folder
I like this product but wish it was ½ inch wider. Because of the zipper, I have to flex the papers to fit them in but then they lay flat. I would think this could hold 20+ sheets of paper, but that would require a lot of flexing to get them all into the folder. It’s even harder to get them back out. If it was 1/2 inch wider, this wouldn’t be a problem. Because of that I would deduct a star. However, there’s a great hidden feature. On the bottom of the folder, there is a flap that allows you to fold up the binder holes section so that you don’t have to use it in a binder. That’s great, especially because I didn’t want to use it in a binder. Add that star back to the rating!I’m struggling to find a folder similar to this that will fit into my 12” file drawer and offer a greater ease of use when putting papers in or taking them out. So far, this works the best, mostly because of it’s size. I just wish it was a touch wider.

Nice zippered pouch but will not fit most notebooks
These were purchased to corral miscellaneous papers in 3 ring binders. While I was impressed with the quality of these zippered pouches, the dimension of these pouches are nearly 10" wide making them too wide to fit within the covers of a standard notebook.

Great for storing paperwork with other devices to keep all secure in one place
Have been looking for a solution for keeping keys that needs to stay with paperwork in once secure place and these vinyl folders are perfect for that purpose. It expands and can be kept in notebooks.

Cardinal Plastic Zippered Binder Pockets
I purchased the 5 pack of the Cardinal Plastic Zippered Binder Pockets directly from Amazon. I wanted to use the purple one in my Control Journal as the FlyLady color is purple. I unzipped it to see if a note paper would fit in it it does but you have to bend the paper to get it past the opening. After I unzipped it a couple of times, I realized that no matter which way I went with the zipper the opening did not close. As it looks closed until you really take a good look at it, I cannot say if this one was just defective or if it broke after being used only for a day (only used to hold a piece of paper). Either way it is useless. The zipper on the Red and Black ones are currently working so I am putting the red one in my Control Journal but if it quits working, I will not be willing to risk using any of them to hold important papers. I planned to use one to collect my tax documents in January but now I worry it will not keep them secure in my control journal. At this time, I do NOT recommend this product. Find one with a zipper that is reliable.
