Great tech, shame about the mounting
Firstly, the electronics work well - I've only really used the Android Auto wireless stuff but that "just works" so far.There's a few slightly annoying bits, but nothing serious - for example you don't seem to be able to adjust the graphic equaliser from within Android Auto, you need to come out of that and go to the FM radio or something else and alter the EQ from that. The EQ settings do stick though, so any changes you make still alter the sound when you're back in Android Auto.The connector you need for the back if you're buying a harness adapter cable is called a "16 pin" connector, and seems to use the same wiring as Kenwood and maybe Sony.The hardest thing for me was mounting the thing. It might be that Vauxhall (aka Opel) 2 DIN openings are just slightly smaller than standard, but this thing took me ages and I needed to modify some of the mounting bits supplied to get it to fit. On the plus side, it's not heavy but you don't want it to be vibrating around too much.Also, the Wi-Fi antenna is on the rear of the unit so you don't want to fit this inside a metal cage as it'll block the signal and you might not get a very stable connection.Overall though, now that I have the unit mounted, I'm pretty happy with it. I've got a 2hr motorway journey coming up so that'll be a good test of the stability of the wireless Android Auto connection. I'll update this review if there are any other things worth mentioning too.

Had problems but fixed
Was going to return this after it wasn't turning on no matter how much I rewired it. Turns out my audio fuses were blown from under the bonnet and footwell. They must've short circuited during fitment, so it's always a good idea to disconnect the battery prior to fitting which I forgot. It's sometimes the simplest of things that get overlooked.The unit was fitted on my S15 Silvia, a budget but good upgrade over the Japanese one it came imported with. Now I just need to tuck the camera and microphone wires for a tidier look.

Had to send back
Sent back after 3 weeks after having countless issues. Ended up buying a stereo elsewhere. Can't really fault customer service though.

Need to delve into you car electrics for this one. Not for the faint hearted.
It wasn’t clear the amount of installation required for this which ideally a garage would do for you.

Good quality little radio
Bought this for my girlfriends car, it was easy to fit and she loves using CarPlay. It’s easy to use the interface and the volume knob is much easier to use than buttons found on others
