Labor of Love
As a mathematical interested in tiling I found this book an amazing labor of love. Beautiful pull out diagrams for everting from penrose tiles to a variety of fractals. Now all I need is someone who can quilt for me on commission.

Geometry on fabric
What an interesting view of geometry as it can be used to make quilts. Patterns are fabulous. I have already finished one block and can say this looks more complex than it really is. Instructions are well written and easily understood by intermediate or advanced quilters. Beginners may need some help.

*Wonderful* book!
This book is great for math lovers and math-phobics alike! The explanations are so clear that I can't imagine anyone not being successful with making the quilts (or a larger quilt). This is one of the few that doesn't end with "quilt as desired" -- instead giving suggestions for quilting motifs that work well with the patchwork. All thumbs up!

At last! A "different" quilt book
The concept of designing quilts around mathematical formulae sets this apart from the run of normal quilting books. But don't be scared - the book contains clear, well thought-out and detailed instructions for each example. It's hard to choose my favourite. Highly recommended!

mathematics and quilting made easy
If you are a lover of symmetry and quilting, then this book is for you. There are so many ideas and projects which are well-explained and easy to execute all contained in this one volume. You will see patterns which you didn't even think you could make yourself as well as others you knew about and haven't yet tried. A fascinating collection of projects, which will keep you amused for hours, weeks and months.

Disappointing
This book disappointed me. I was not expecting all paper pieced patterns when geometrical patterns are usually able to be cut. The coloured examples are not very lively either.
