Rapporto Qualità Costo eccellente
Zoom tele compattissimo, in posizione "riposo", "solo" compatto in posizione "lavoro" e leggero. Lente qualitativamente ottima.

Small and mighty
Let's get the negative out of the way first. It doesn't feel like a weapon grade build, and it needs to be extended before use. Then the positive: it's small, light, sharp, sharp, sharp. It focuses close and has no aberrations that I can see. And it's weather proof. It's a winner with the 'extend-me' first feature. This feature also makes the lens small. It's good value to!

A very compact, light, and sharp OM lens at a reasonable price
Don't you just love micro 4/3 !! Incredible lens and very light and compact for its reach. It's also very sharp and not a cheapie 'kit lens'. The 40-150mm/F4.0 PRO (80-300mm 35mm equiv) does fine in reasonably good lighting. For lower light I would probably opt for the 40-150mm/F2.8 but it's understandably larger, heavier, and costs more. But if I had to carry just one lens and only one lens it would probably be my OM 12-100mm/4.0 (24-200mm 35mm equiv).

Great lens!
I have the Olympus 40-150mm f2.8 Pro lens but was finding it rather heavy when out and about for over 3 hours. I bought this f4 Pro lens, with the same focal length. It’s half the size, half the weight, and much easier and lighter to carry around. OK it doesn’t have some points, fn button, Tele-converter (which fits the f2.8), and the manual clutch. However, you can use the AF/MF switch on Live View or convert a button on the camera - I use the EM1iii. I found the auto-focus very quick, compared to some Olympus lenses, and this is the first lens produced by OM Systems. Since I bought it a couple of weeks ago, it’s become my main lens.
