It works!!!!
With the oversaturation of beauty products on the market, the creator of this specific product has had their line pulled from shelves at many stores due to lack of sales. That being said I started using this product only recently out of curiosity. From day, one of using this product, I have been kicking myself for not giving this a try sooner. It does everything that it advertises. Furthermore, I haven’t had any negative reaction to this product at all; which is rare considering my skin hates everything. And most importantly, it absorbs really well into the skin leaving no stickiness or residue I sincerely hope that this product does not get discontinued because I plan on making this staple in my skincare routine. If anyone is looking for a gentle ret that causes no irritation and does what it’s supposed to then this is it. Once I have the funds, I’m going to buy at least five of them to keep in stock at all times.

First time using retinol and experienced no negative effects. Was very easy on the skin
I've wanted to try retinol for a long time, but was nervous because people often experience negative side effects at first such as breakouts and redness. I tried this one, because I'd been told that it's great for first time retinol users and is very easy on the skin. After using, it definitely was. It was easy to put on, didn't cause any adverse skin effects, and I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is new and nervous to trying a retinol product

Difference overnight
My skin liked this It is lightweight and absorbs easily My jaw dropped when I saw an improvement in my skin overnight. I have sensitive combination skin and had no reactions just a slow steady improvement in my skin. I heartily recommend it

Good for beginners
If you're new to retinoids, this is a good starter retinol. This specific one is good if you have oily or acne prone skin, though if you have cystic acne, I would probably use adapalene gel instead because it is more effective. Almost every Selfless product has packaging that is kinda frustrating to use. I think it would be better in a bottle with a dropper or a pump so you can have better control over how much product actually gets squeezed out. The price point is also a little high compared to adapalene products or more true retinols. I do appreciate the attempts to reduce waste, but this is not my favorite retinol.

Love the consistency! Really hydrates my skin!
I got this initially in one of my Ipsy orders and I ended up loving it! I love in Colorado and am in my 50's--double whammy for dry skin! This isn't too greasy either!

Seems OK so far....
I've been using retinol for years, so I think my skin is used to it by now. So I haven't really noticed any difference with this product vs my regular (I generally use Honest retinol serum). This one is just slightly thicker. This one has squalene, which the description says should "immediately" plump and soften the skin, can't say I've really noticed that either. I've found with all of these Selfless products in this type of bottle I have to stick a needle or safety pin into the opening to pierce the inside to get any product out. (photo attached). Works great after that. I don't know why they don't have the ingredients list posted anywhere on the listing currently though! So here is the list from their site (I've also attached a photo of them on the box).Aqua (Water/Eau), Squalane, Triolein, Glycerin, Glyceryl Oleate Citrate, Tranexamic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Benzyl Alcohol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Cystoseira Tamariscifolia Extract, Tocopherol.I don't love that it has phenoxyethanol in it, but that's my main gripe with it. Overall I can't say I would or wouldn't recommend it at this point since it's only been about a week. Haven't noticed anything great, but nor have I noticed anything bad (I'm very prone to breakouts so it's great this hasn't caused me any acne issues). Giving it the benefit of the doubt currently by giving it 4 stars, I will update if anything good or bad happens over the course of using up the bottle.
