Way more durable than our Zyliss scoop, which pitted and peeled rapidly after a few uses. Minus 1 star because it could be more durable than it is if they would just extend the stainless steel paddle farther into the handle. I think it would be nearly immortal if they did so.

I didn't realize this was actually coming from Alaska (I thought Alaska was the brand). It still got here quickly and works great. It's very well put together, so it should last a long time. I bought this one because my dad got an ice cream spade made out of forged steel with the riveted wooden handle as an anniversary gift from the gas company when I was a little girl. This one is made very similarly and seems to be as sturdy, so we'll have it for years to come. Definitely worth the money!

We needed a good, durable ice cream scoop as our freezer keeps ice cream frozen solid. We used to have to take the ice cream out and thaw it for about 30 minutes before we could scoop it, now there is no wait. We just dig right in and enjoy our treat.

I expected it to be larger I purchased one in Alaska which was bigger, I thought I was getting the same thing. I bought it for my son he seems to be fine with it. I like my bigger one.

Heavy duty describes this scoop well. It has some heft to it! It scoops ice cream out of the carton like butter and the wooden handle is silky smooth. The spade has no real curve to it, so it is not the scoop for ice cream cones. But it is perfect for bowls of ice cream, or making milkshakes.

The best Scooper I've ever owned. But clean it up right after using it. Not of the best quality! But it works really great!!!!
