They are both the same size wight and function for the jaw area. The regular one is 4140 steel and plated for rust proofing. The Pro is brushed stainless steel. The Pro has an "emergency" Rotor pull up tool & screw driver built into the pivot point bolt. I designed that additional feature into the Pro model because when I was working on sprinklers for a living, it always bothered me when I misplaced the little white adjustment tool and I had to walk all the way back to the truck to find another one. It's not the "go to" for a pull up tool or screw driver but handy in a pinch.
