I had two open electrical boxes after removing old smoke detectors. Thes plates fit perfectly and are easy to install. They are a little shiny compared to the ceiling, but blend in well enough that I did not bother to repaint them.

We put these up to cover the holes in the ceiling after removing 2 ceiling fans. We weren't sure what would replace them so we put these covers up temporarily. They did the job, were not expensive and remained unobtrusive until replaced with flush mount lights.

Only issue was needing longer screws to cap a couple outlets on the ceiling.

We recently removed a ceiling light that no longer worked in the place it was after moving some walls. We still may need access to the junction box so instead of permanently closing it up, this is a great solution. The screw holes aligned perfectly with the existing standard box making for a simple install and will be easy to remove if we need to access the junction. It's a textured ceiling so not real noticeable. Great solution for us.

Nice quality and as described. The sizes mentioned in the description are box sizes not hole spacing so just a note to look at the drawings shown before you buy. Otherwise perfect. Hard to find ones that aren't just flat pieces of metal and therefore don't have recesses for screw to sit flush.

The screws included appear to be #8-32 or #10-32, while your standard box is #6-32. In order to use these screws, you'll need to either drill the box out bigger or use a multi size tap to increase the size. Really they should just use #6-32 screws as the larger sizes should only be a last resort if you have stripped out the smaller size.

I used these to close out the electrical boxes from some wall sconces taken down (be sure to cap off the wires!). I was repainting the room so scuffed these, then rolled the paint roller right over them. They nicely “disappear.” It’s important to close out a “live” electrical box this way as it is required by code. You can’t just drywall over them.
