Onyx Professional Heated Eyelash Curler with Silicone Pads - No Crimping, Pulling, Damages to Eyelashes

I was really excited to get one of these as I've been waiting for a long time to find one with decent reviews. So I'm writing this one to help those of you trying to decide whether to give this a shot.*Pros- it heats up VERY fast and goes from red to clear when it's ready, the idea of a wire through silicone is actually a really good one... because it's enough of a buffer that you can't really burn yourself (initially it's only slightly warm to the lid and you have plenty of time to reposition it if you feel it's getting too hot for you), it's size means it won't take up too much space in your cosmetics bag or drawer... as opposed to the awkward shape of a traditional curler.*Cons- it doesn't actually CURL, it CRIMPS... the shape of the silicone pad is not round...which I don't see why they wouldn't make it that way because it really would be so much nicer for us and they would sell SO many more. Also, as much as I tried to get to the base of my lashes I couldn't... partially the shape of my eyelid and partially the design of the curler. And lastly, it's cheap plastic. For $8 I wasn't expecting the works, but I was surprised at the Dollar store feel it had.Bottom line: If you're happy with a CRIMP instead of a CURL, then you've hit the jackpot!I will continue to use it, pressing lighter and trying to trick my eyelashes into curving. 😉Please indicate if you've found my review helpful!UPDATE: I ultimately only used this about 10 times. After about the 8th time it started to fall apart and wouldn't turn on. Being the fixer that I am... I got my tweezers out and went to work, placing the parts exactly where they needed to be to make a proper connection with the batteries... and then with my ninja skills I quickly screwed it together before it all popped out again. I got it to work a couple more times, only by applying just the right amount of pressure to the power switch, while not applying TOO much pressure which might cause the whole thing to disintegrate.This curler really toyed with my emotions... and was a total disappointment in the end. I've now ordered one from Japan... I'll leave a review for that one too... when it finally arrives.

I agree on someone who mentioned how the device is made and the application of using it. It was a bit of a struggle to get my all my eyelashes curled because the first attempt didn't get some as well as the feel on using it. Overall an alright product but didn't feel as easy to use compared to the traditional eyelash curler. Not worth how much you spend on this. Better to get something else!

This is just how the title describes it, eh. This curler had a lot of mixed reviews but I found most of them to be positive. So, I purchased this curler for my wonky yet long lashes. The curler heats up pretty well, it gets hotter than I expected. However, it's a bitch to use. The trigger or whatever that you us to apply pressure to your lashes, is in the most awkward spot. Also, it heats up well but it didn't exactly curl my lashes. It took around seven tries to get them looking acceptable. I'm a bit annoyed with this and I hope it gets better after some practice maybe?

I really wanted to like this because it's easy. It works great on lashes with mascara on without pulling out lashes. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks (not even using it everyday ) it stopped working. I opened back to replace batteries and a tiny silver metal piece fell out. I couldn't get it back in and new batteries wouldn't work without it. Company gave refund with it's return.

This was great when I initially got it. I would have loved it if it didn't completely stop working after two weeks. I thought I just needed to change the batteries but NOPE. No heat. Now it's just like any other eyelash curler.

It is not amazing but it definetly does curl them more than a rgular eyelash curler, way more. I would recommend, just when u apply it hold it for longer than 5 seconds. You will love it!

Works great. Heats quickly and my stick straight eyelashes stay curled all day. Batteries are hard to get in and out. I tend to forget to turn it off so I go through a set of batteries every time I forget. I wish it had an automatic shutoff.

This little tool works great, I am very happy. I had one like this before and it broke down eventually, so I bought this one. It seems better made than my first one, I think it will work much longer. The results are great, it curls up eye lashes very well. I love it, and yes, I would recommend it to my friends.
