Everything you would want in a mustard. Great flavor and texture.

Maybe the world's tastiest mustard, a long time fave packed in handsome reuseable stone crocks that look ultra-smart on a casual table. One of the crocks arrived smashed and there was a no-refund-no-return policy on the purchase (!) so I ended up with one almost $30 jar of mustard. Sigh.

I tasted the ground version of this very high end, expensive mustard and liked it enough to order it. Unfortunately only option to buy here was seeded not smooth, which I normally like best. Too mustard seedy with the vinegar liquid not incorporated enough not to separate. All would be acceptable however the cute jar has a deep plastic lid that is extremely hard to get off, next to i possible, this time I thought maybe a beer opener to muscle it? Did not work. So they have a giant place for improvement in the lid. It is red hard plastic so not whatever was original which was the charm, red, sealed in wax assumption. I do not reccommend it for anyone with less muscle to pry it open than a 20 yr old.

Super-flavorful, versatile mustard. I use a lot of it for 'broccoli helper' - equal amounts of mustard and mayo with fresh lemon juice added to taste. It transforms steamed broccoli into an enjoyable dish. GHWB should try it!This review is for Pommery Meaux Mustard (2 PACK). One of the two jars had a tiny bit of leakage at the seal, but I'm not going to worry about it. I expect that I can use both jars by the Best By date, which is 4mo 23days from today, the day I received it from my seller - who has over 100,000 reviews.

Been buying this for decades, and never tire of it. The only issues were the past inability to find it before Amazon, and the newer plastic cap. The cork stopper was a little pain to remove the first time, but after that a piece of cake. The plastic one never loosens up, so it is always a pain. BUT, well worth it for the taste and texture. I would never down rate the product for this, it's that good.
