It gets five stars even though it sticks a little. At least, if you know how to use it correctly, its better than trying to pour it straight from the bottle which is sometimes a messy endeavor when making chocolate milk like my live-in companion likes to do since he is a chocolate fiend. He adores his chocolate in all its forms & especially the milk option but he can be a little messy in pouring the stuff. So, I got this pump for him & it has immensely improved the situation. Mind you, I have to buy the very large 7.5 pound jug of chocolate syrup because he can go through it so fast & be out of the stuff faster than someone that just buys a average size jug. Anyways, the pump works to my satisfaction not just his so I can avoid having to clean up any more syrup spills.

It’s a pump designed to dispense a thick liquid, like chocolate syrup. It does exactly that, consistently. Did have to cut the straw length down to fit the plastic jug, which was easy with a sharp blade or tubing cutter. Will fit taller jugs than just Hershey’s 7.5lb. The lid is the correct size, and hasn’t leaked at all, cleanly dispensing about an ounce of syrup each pump mess free. Saving money compared to smaller bottles, easier and less mess in the fridge and on hands, even the 9yr old can get her own chocolate syrup for milk or ice cream without cleanup. So far it’s holding up like new after emptying several 7.5lb jugs of cold syrup and expecting it to last a while, but will definitely be purchasing another the same day this one eventually wears out…

This product does not fit Hershey's Chocolate Flavored Syrup Bulk Jug 7 lb 8 oz. It comes with a stiff extension tube that is too long. The tube bends into a kink that prevents chocolate from flowing smoothly.

i don't think the quality is worth $15. it feels a bit overpriced but the pump works so i'm satisfied. idk if maybe the 7.5lb hershey's choco syrup jug has changed shape since some of these other reviews but i had to cut my pump to fit. nbd for a nice sharp pair of scissors. the pump also felt like it wasn't going to fit while twisting it on. it kept going down lopsided but it actually does fit if you keep fiddling with it. maybe it's not a perfect fit but it feels secure once closed. i've only used it once, it pumps choco syrup out fine but i'm worried some residual syrup might come out of the spout. i haven't noticed leaks but again i've only used it once.

These are nice and work well but with one issue. I received 2 pumps and each comes in 2 pieces which in itself is fine but even though I firmly pressed the 2 pieces together it fell apart inside the sauce bottle so I had to use the second pump to finish the bottle or I would have had to fish it out :-/

Works perfectly with the large bottle of chocolate syrup!

It was recommended for a 7.5 lb of hersheys syrup, the stem was longer than the bottle but it cut easily and is working out great.

Bought this together with the product it was paired with. It is 10 cm too tall and couldn't use it. Waste of money
