After wasting my money on other products including Frontline and Advantage, this product line is what worked! I used lots of different products and this was the system that finally did the trick. Bathe the cat, then use the safe cat spray and waterless bath by Vet's Best as touch ups in the difficult areas over the next days/weeks. I don't like using waterless products because the cat licks the byproducts, but if you use it sparingly and as needed to control the fleas it works and doesn't make the cat sick. The cocoon stage is the toughest to beat. Get a soft bristle brush (usually comes dual sided) which can be used during bathing and post bathing, which helps to remove the cocoons and larvae. I brush the cat on a counter and you will be able to see what is getting flicked off the cat. Don't brush your cat on your floor. At one point all the products that I had tried before Vet's Best forced me to have to shave my cats and we were still losing the flea battle. Advantage and Frontline no longer works. Call your veterinarian to learn which flea drops work in your area. The fleas have evolved. I used these products for years with great success, but no more. I also had covered all of my furniture with sheets and towels and washed consistently until we got things under control. The Biocare flea trap (with light) is also a great purchase. The Vet's Best spray for the home also doesn't stink like other products.

We had a horrific flea infestation for several months. I am apparently delicious, and several years later, the scars on my legs from flea bites still leave me looking like some sort of plague victim. We tried everything to get rid of them - various flea meds, food safe diatomaceous earth in the carpets, vacuuming so much that our vacuum almost caught fire - and it was only after we got the VETS+BEST waterless shampoo and furniture spray that the infestation really started to die. The smell can be pretty intense, but it at least smells *nice*, rather than super bitter or medicinal or something. We bought this most recent round of VETS+BEST products for a friend who was trapped by a flea infestation, and it was just as effective for them last month as it was for us a few years ago! Glad the fleas havent adapted to survive it yet - as they have many medications...

Very easy to use and works well for my kitten. I use it once a month; she is a house cat. It works, no more scratching. When I received her she scratched a lot that is why I immediately brought a product to clean her with and a very good flea collar. Now her fur is soft and shinny and no more scratching--love it.

This product can work. I just do not recommend it if you have multiple pets.

I had medicated my cat with Frontline only to realize he had Frontline-resistant fleas. He was miserable. His leg was all chewed up, he lost pounds of weight, and he was diagnosed as anemic. Our vet prescribed a different topical medication, but we were told we had to wait until we would be reapplying frontline to put on the new medicine. The cat could not wait that long. We used the Vet's Best Flea Waterless Bath for Cats, since the idea of holding him still with shampoo on in water for 15 minutes seemed approximately impossible. This was instant, and the cat could run off as soon as he was thoroughly covered.I followed instructions, and as he is a cat with a thick coat, it took a little longer than expected, but it applied easily, and i brushed it through to reach the skin. It worked well for a few days until our vet said we could go ahead and apply the new medication. He was so fluffy and soft after application, I decided to wait a week after applying the new meds (during which time even more fleas evacuated from his fur) to reapply the waterless bath. He not only tolerated it, but appeared to enjoy it the second time.Maybe it feels good, or maybe he correlates feeling better with this shampoo. Either way, we have purchased twice, and will purchase again.

This was great for the inbetween days of baths while we resolved the flea problems in our home. I rescued a kitten from our neighborhood. In addition to this, I also sprayed their room spray on the rugs after vacuuming and my sofa. I also gave my cat some oral tablets from amazon and we used a high concentrated solution, bought also on amazon, in the entire house. Fleas can get out of hand very quickly. I would recommend to do all the above and vaccume a minimum twice a day. And this smells so clean with essential oil blends
