Easy to install and adjustable width
I removed some old tubular running boards (aka sissy steps) because they stuck out too far away from the vehicle, I felt like I was sledding through wet/snowing roads. I got these for the flat rails and positive feedback from others. Took me about an hour (I'm an amateur though) and I like the ability to adjust the inward/outward distance. There's about 2 inches of play in/out. Now my wife and I can use the steps if our backs are sore, our still step in and out without hitting the rails if we choose to jump all the way in/out with hitting our shins them if want. I like the design and the flexibility. Enjoy the photos of my 2018 F150 from SoCal.

Look good, very good value
I installed the 4" APS Black iBoards on my 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro. Not sure why this Amazon listing excludes the vehicle. It is true that one of the bracket locations (the middle, on both sides) doesn't have much clearance because of plastic shields on either side of the battery pack, but I was able to install the brackets without contact to any other part.Pros: Reasonably priced, easy - tho' tedious - to install, look good, sturdy, narrow profile minimizes aero drag, which is important for an electric vehicle. They also came well-packed.Cons: None, really, but three notes:1) The folks who claim they installed the boards in 30 mins are on drugs. I've been working on cars for 50+ years and have all the right tools. Under excellent conditions - vehicle on lift in pleasant temperatures - maybe it could be done 45 minutes a side (1.5 hours total). It is completely possible to install the boards with all four wheels on the ground - just takes longer. The threaded studs that Ford has welded into the frame have some kind of coating on them that really slowed me down. Not hard, just tedious.2) The folks who claim they are cheap and flimsy... well, mine are not. I am 245 lbs and with my full weight on a board it didn't budge. The steel brackets are substantial (tho' I wish they were aluminum like the boards and the cab frame).3) There were EXACTLY the right number of fasteners and other parts in the kit. For a few cents more, I really wish the manufacturer would add one more of each of the threaded items, and the plastic spacer/washer. Just in case...I would definitely buy these running boards again, and have already recommended them to a friend.

Way better quality than i couldve imagined, very solid step!
I ordered another set of plain black ones from another vendor and returned them when i seen that they were made out of steel and very cheaply made. They screamed like rust waiting to happen especially when the hardware wasn't even painted. These steps not only are aluminum but look better and more sleek. The hardware was all painted black and comes with nylon washers to keep the steel brackets off the aluminum truck mount. I wasnt missing a single nut or bolt either and that never happens! 2 sockets and a ratchet is all you'll need for the install, i did however use a 1/4" impact to attach the bolts to the step. Both sides were put on in less than a half hour.Others stated they were too short for a crew cab or the nylon nuts stripped. I find that to be nonsense and more user error. The nylon nuts get very snug and not a single one stripped on me. As far as the length goes it finishes at the front door seam and ends at the rear door seam. Perfectly fine for a crew cab. I opted for the 4" model and am not disappointed in my decision. You have an additional 1/2"-3/4" slide within the bracket to square them up, stick them further out, or suck them closer in to the frame rails. You also have the option to slide them more to the front or rear of the truck as well if desired. Overall you have plenty of step for your foot when the door is opened. Just order them if your on the fence, you'll be happy.

My second set
This is my second set, the first set saved the side of my truck in a Sideswipe accident.

Great Buy
I recently installed these as a replacement for the same boards that I installed on my F-150 6 years ago. The original version was great, but I really like the updated mounting brackets on this newer version. Boards look great, installation was straightforward, and for the price they are a good value.

Easy to install
These running boards are probably the easiest after market item I have ever put on a vehicle, it's a 2021 Ford F150 XLT. I know this sounds strange but you need 3 tool a 3/8 rachet wrench, 10 mm socket and a1/2 inch socket. Don't ask me why one metric and one SAE but that's what it took. Says max weight is 300 lbs is max weight for them and that's what I weight and they never even budged when I got in the truck. Well worth the money and will take about and hour to install both boards. They also inproved the looks of the truck.
