couldn't ask for a better one, having been taught on those laughably terrible plastic ones (they really hurt!), this is a much needed improvement.

This is crap. The increments are off by up to .4mm. What good is a calibration block that's not dead on?

Not bad for something basic - wouldn't do anything scientific with it.
This is better than I originally thought. But some of the steps are still a little off I believe. There's really no reason why my caliper should be accurate with this block at 10, 20, 30 and 50mm .. but then just at 40mm read 40.11 .. being almost 3% off for a calibration block seems meh.
