Amazing taste
I tried these out and immediately ordered the 6 pack. They taste amazing and I eat these for breakfast everyday, I’d take these over regular pancake mix any day. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a more nutritious product.

Good quality pancakes!
Love these pancake mixes! My kids love them and even my mother-in-law, who usually hates pancakes, says she really likes these!

Some very solid pancakes that keeps me full
I do a simple 1 cup of the powder mix, 3/4 cup of milk, and 1 egg. This makes me 2 large pancakes. This is not food that I would simply eat to enjoy. If I want to enjoy good pancakes, then I would go and make regular pancakes because when compared to regular pancakes, this is way inferior.Although the taste is inferior, everything else isn't. The reason being is that regular pancakes will contain buttermilk, butter, or lots of syrup, while this pancake tastes like whole-wheat fluffy protein bread.I don't particularly enjoy the taste and honestly, it is pretty dry unless I add honey. I eat it for the purpose of how protein-packed the pancake is and it keeps me full for well past lunchtime.I'm not to make and eat this pancake for the purpose of trying to make it taste good because once I throw in the butter and the sugar, it kind of defeats the purpose of eating a protein pancake. At that point, it's easier to just drink 2 scoops of protein powder. What I'm trying to say is. This isn't a yummy pancake, but a healthy one. If I want to have a good pancake, then I would not use this mix. Like eating a salad to be healthy, but it loses its purpose after adding the dressing.

Love them! We add 3-4 eggs per batch for hearty but still fluffy pancakes
Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes - Protein Pancake Mix Just Add Water - 100% Whole Grain Flapjack and Protein Waffle Mix - Buttermilk (20oz, 2 boxes), Blueberry (18oz, 1 box) Pancake Mix BulkWe make regular homemade buttermilk pancakes a few times a week, and while they're pretty simple, they're not especially healthy, and sometimes you don't want to have to think or pay any attention making breakfast, which is where mixes come in. While I'm unlikely to buy plain jane buttermilk pancake mix, I do sometimes buy the "healthy" mixes--high protein or whole grain. They vary from hearty delicious to kind of weird. These are on the delicious range. The instructions have a water recipe, a milk recipe (higher in protein) and a milk + egg recipe (more protein yet--and also more fluffy). We make the egg version, but with way more eggs, and either with milk or whey. I think the key is the egg, not the milk. And more eggs are better! I've worked up to 4 eggs per batch, and that's our usual recipe now. The batter is a little thinner going on the griddle, but poofs right up. The results are nice and fluffy, thick enough to add berries (I add them to the cakes, not the batter).Despite the heavier whole grain flour (you can tell it's heavier vs. plain flour just by scooping it--it scoops much more like whole wheat), with eggs they're just as fluffy as regular buttermilk pancakes, with the added benefit of being heartier and just plain tastier. My daughter prefers the buttermilk and I prefer the blueberry. Just looking at the mix, I didn't expect much--at best, it had little flecks of blueberry. But the flavor was surprisingly good, and I feel just as satisfied eating two of these pancakes as 4 of my regular homemade buttermilk pancakes. For reference, we cook on a lightly buttered electric griddle and dress them with a tiny bit more butter and pancake or maple syrup, or jam (same goes for our usual pancakes).A batch made with 1 cup of mix, 3-4 eggs, and 3/4 cup milk produces six 5" pancakes. The only thing I don't love is the price, but I'm thrifty and used to making everything from scratch, which is cheap. The prices here are on par with local supermarket and target, and considering they're more filling that my usual lightweight scratch cakes, it's a good value.

Takes some practice, but they taste good and are great nutritionally.
I've tried the Blueberry mix and written about it in a different review; part of that review is included here. Here I'm going to focus more on the buttermilk flavor mix. What got me interested in this pancake mix was the fact that it was whole grain as well as high in protein.Mixing it up for pancakes is quite easy, just like any other pancake mix. We also tried making waffles from it. Because this is a whole-grain mix they cook a little differently than pancakes or waffles made with bleached flour, and the finished product has both a different texture and taste. It's not a bad taste, just different, so you or you family members may need to get used to it. It may also require some experimentation: the waffles didn't come out well at first!Overall the family both likes and enjoys these. I really appreciate their better nutritional content.

Handy breakfast mixes to have on the shelf.
These pancakes are pretty tasty mix to have on your pantry shelves for those mornings when you want quick pancakes. They give many was of mixing the batter up so you can increase the protein in each. The quickest way is just the mix and water but I typically do the water and an egg for mine. The plain are my favorite and had a nice fluffy texture and the flavor was close to homemade! The blueberry ones are okay too, my boys liked those. They aren’t going to taste exactly like fresh blueberry pancakes because they are tiny dried flakes of blueberries. Of course that is expected with premise shed stable mixes like these. It reminds me of those blueberry muffin mixes in the store when it comes to the flavor of the blueberry variety. The pancakes are very filling and the mix is easy and quick to mix up and cook.
