Eagle Corner Dining Hutch/Buffet, Black Finish

Very nice hutch, the only caution would be on the color, the color iron ore looks like a dark grey on Amazon but as u can see in picture it is almost black. There is a light inside and the top shelf is glass. Only one of three draws open but opens smoothly. The knobs were a surprise , a silver grey metal not wood, very nice. Was delivered in a large box assembled , the driver did bring in into the house but we unpacked it, packaged very wellA quality product

This piece looks as good in reality as it does in the photos, but it feels cheaply made for the price. As we unpacked it, I was surprised by how much of the body is plywood--the same kind of plywood they use to secure the glass shelf for shipping by nailing throwaway chunks of it into the body of the piece (those chunks are also hard to remove upon assembly). Once it's stood upright, I found ours a bit wobbly, but found no instructions or adjustments for the footing. Also, upon delivery, the knobs are secured to the piece by being screwed in backwards (i.e., on the inside of the doors.) These are all minor issues but left me feeling like it was quickly slapped together for delivery. If you guys enjoy building these as much as you want us to enjoy using them, then put some thought into it--find a better way to secure the shelf for shipping, throw the hardware into a bag, add some adjustable feet, maybe make the lamp plug-in (am I really going to change the batteries in a cabinet display light? No.) $830 ain't chump change.

all the glazing clips, but 2 broken on one of the panes of glasses. and there is no good contact to get replacements

Well we are very happy with this cabinet. Very sturdy, perfect for our needs. It arrived promptly, packaged great, excellent value for the money. Its wicked good!!

Love it! Nice that it came assembled. Only had to put glass shelf in, like it stated on description. It looks exactly as I expected which is good. I replaced all the wooden knobs with oil rubbed bronze ones to tie it in with our kitchen. Also had a piece of remnant granite, that matches our countertops, cut to go on top of the hutch part. Looks great! Love the light in hutch. Really stores alot!

I love the style of this piece. I bought it based on customer reviews. I knew that the construction would not be what I would expect from a more expensive piece of furniture, so I think my expectations are realistic. I am disappointed in a few things... the glass shelf is shipped on a piece of styrofoam on the shelf under the cabinet. It is fastened in place with pieces of wood that are tacked into the sides of the hutch. Now that the wood is removed and the glass is in place, there are visible holes in my brand new hutch. One of the tacks left a chip in the wood on its way out. Also, there are some imperfections on the inside of the cabinet that I would not expect from a new piece of furniture at this price point. I will likely keep it because I feel like only I will notice these things, but if I had to do it over again, I might shop around a little more before settling on this.

My wife loves how it looks but it's quite fragile and damaged easily in shipping. The first order was received with extensive damage. Amazon customer service was great and ordered a replacement and pick up. It was a seamless transaction, the new one was delivered and the old one picked up. Unfortunately, the new one also was damaged but nowhere as severe as the prior order so we decided to keep it as is. The hinge to one of the glass doors was broken and I have yet to contact the company to ask for a replacement. Bottom line, it looks great but the quality is not very good considering the price.
