Highly recommend. Review: Monocular, not Binocular - First, this device has a camera in the left lens and an infrared light in the right lens. Second, the image from the camera is displayed on a small LCD screen inside the housing, there are no magnifying optics, so you don't get a 3D stereoscopic view. This device is a monocular, not a binocular. With those caveats, this device does a nice job as a medium-quality camera that can see in the dark. The infrared light is fairly bright and illuminates objects at a decent range. It's also slightly visible as a red glow inside the lens, so it might give away your position to humans. (Animals will already know you're there by sound and scent.) The various brightness levels work well, and the zoom maintains decent image quality. Images can be saved to an SD card, not included, and can be downloaded via the enclosed USB cable. The device is powered by 8 AA batteries, so you might want to consider rechargeable batteries to save money.

For the price, this is a good product.
The strap is going to take me awhile to put on. There is no Red Eye but all images show up well.

I tried
I really wanted these to be great. I used them for several days and nights, trying my best to like them but it didn't happen. Let's start with the "military grade" night vision. No, they are not military grade. They are, at best, a simple infrared collector with an infrared light that illuminates the area like a flashlight. Also, they are not "binoculars". This is a monocular (single lens) with an infrared light next to it. The viewing area is not a set of eyepieces like a binocular but a single LCD display. And the 8 AA batteries adds a lot of extra weight to an already bulky and heavy device. So in a nutshell, this seems to be a heavy video camera with a built in IR light that uses all the batteries you have in your house. The buttons work but not without some wonkiness. Particularly when turning the IR off. It seems like I have to push that particular button three or four times to turn off IR and switch back to normal.

Don't buy these
Bought these night vision Binoculars in April 2022. I only used them a few times. went to use them again in August 2022 and the batteries were very hot and then they leaked and destroyed the binoculars. Fluid from the batteries was running out. This product is China made junk. That was a big waste of $209.00. Buyer be ware on these Binoculars, don't bother.

Not really the binocular affect I expected
I was disappointed in these as the first thing I learned upon opening them was that they required 8 AA batteries. Nothing in the product description gave this information. I felt that something at this cost and for this purpose would use and come with lithium batteries. These are very light as the casing is plastic which works well for use in inclement weather. I found these to be very easy to use right from the box. I was pleasantly surprised that the memory card was included. I thought these would have the ability to really pull anything I looked at up close. Not so. I want them to view the wildlife around my property and while I am able to see their heat signature at night due to the IR setting, it does not give me an up close view of them, which is what I wanted.
