I purchased this as a resource of ideas to increase connection with my spouse and share ideas with others looking to enhance their relationships. No one buys books anymore since there is so much information at one's fingertips due to the internet. However, this book gives great ideas, is an easy read, and is more convenient to grab and thumb through for ideas rather than searching countless sights on the internet.I am happy with my purchase, which is also a great gift idea. I plan to use this for myself, make notes on specific ideas that were my favorites, and then give it to my son and his wife when they marry and celebrate an anniversary, such as 3-5 years. That way, the passing of the book will be more personal and meaningful.

I bought this as a way to keep conversation going while my husband was gone for an extended period of time. It has been so fun to have such deep and meaningful conversations over FaceTime. I recommend buying one for each of you! Flip to a random page and each take a few minutes to jot down your answer and then discuss with each other. A lot of these are things I feel I would never know about my husband because it’s not every day normal conversation. We often get caught up in kids that we don’t have deep conversations that aren’t geared around our daily sports or work. This def has sparked some great conversations. We aren’t even half way done and I am so eager to keep going!

I got this for me and my new bf and we have been doing a few questions a couple times a week and he has greatly participated, i find he answeres questions with more details after a few beers 😂 but its a great conversation starter and so much fun.

This book is helpful but also started some arguments because it dips into childhood and how we grew up. My husband didn't have the best childhood and brought up some topics that started an argument

I love this book! No matter how long you’ve been together, this book has questions that you don’t know the answer to! It sparks such great conversation and brings up memories to share with your partner. I like that you pick whichever ones you want and don’t have to go in order, but instead there’s a space for the date so you know when you did that one.Even better yet is there are some that would spark longer conversations and some that are shorter, depending on how much time you have or how tired you are - you’re still able to connect without over commuting and having to stop in the middle of something.Don’t run out of things to talk about or learn about your spouse - this this book; you won’t regret it!

I absolutely LOVE this journal. My husband and I don’t really use it as intended though (one question per day). We work opposite shifts so don’t get a ton of face time with one another. A few times a week, he waits up for me and when I get home we randomly choose questions by flipping through the pages until the other person says stop. Answering the questions and hearing his responses really are the highlight of my day. Some questions are truly thought provoking. Others are fun and playful. I’ve learned some things I never knew about him, and have shared a thing or two with my husband that he didn’t know about me. Any book that can achieve that after a couple’s been married 13 years deserves five stars!

Liked some of the questions
