3SIXTY 2pcs Easywheel & Ti Bolts for Brompton Folding Bike Dino Kiddo

I have an M3R Brompton that gets used for commuting. I need to ride to the train station (1.5 miles), take the train into the city, then commute 4 miles to work. I unfold/fold it multiple times a day (from home, onto the train, off the train, at work, from work, onto the train, from the train, at home). I also need to roll the bike (folded) for a long city block, then down an escalator from the train platform to street level every day. After 3 years, by easy wheels were looking trashed (see first photo).These are attractive wheels that look better than the original easy wheels from Brompton. They are also lighter. NOW, my bike rolls beautifully when I have it in a full fold. The wheels are slightly square v. the more rounded profile of the easy wheels... that little bit of extra real estate actually makes a difference in stability. I also like the fact that the wheels now match all the way around. I bought 2 pairs plus an extender bar, so you can see all four wheels in the after photos.These were easy to replace with my Park Tools MTB-3 Rescue tool, which has both the allen wrenches as well as box wrenches. The box wrench is super handy for holding onto the nut as you release (and later attach) the wheels.Pro tip: Both the Aceoffix and the Brompton Easy Wheels have some side-to-side play in them. You correct this by adding washers to the mounting bolt. The wheels do not come with washers, so you will need to purchase them separately or scavenge them from around the garage. I used one on the inside and one on the outside of the Aceoffiix wheels, which kept them from wobbling at all. Another tip: don't over tighten or you will lock up the free rolling of the wheels. This is true for the Brompton easy wheels as well.

I got these to add a little clearance as the stock wheels were too short in diameter and caused the front wheel to roll while transporting causing the spokes to catch on the peddle. These have helped, though you still need to be mindful and only transport in the roll position for short distances.

Installed these wheels on my rear Brompton fender despite the warnings from an LBS mechanic familiar with Bromptons. He advised that rolling the Brompton like a shopping cart eventually deforms the fender. I put the wheels on anyway and midway thru a bumpy ride to the supermarket, one fell off. By the time I got home, the other was barely dangling. Utterly useless.

was great until someone stole them. fortunately they're quite cheap if you find them on ebay or on sale. even if rubber slides off a little easy to put back on unlike brompton easy wheel. however not as cushy as the bromptons but a little bit thinner though

The diameter is not much different from the original Brompton size wheel and makes little improvement in this one deficiency in Brompton engineering.
