Q: Is this driftwood natural or artificial?

It is natural driftwood. But they use tannins in the curing process, presumably to give it a uniform color for shipping presentation. These need to be bleached out. Let them sit in a bucket or container filled with water for a few days with the sun doing the work so you don’t tint your pond or sicken your fish with some other harsh chemical. The tannins are harmless, but they will make the water look like tea.
