Must have purchase for anyone with a keen interest in motor vehicles and how they work.
Well worth the money for the scientist, professional or enthusiastic amateur with an interest in motor vehicles. Whether you want to know about the history behind simple sensors, exhaust gas emissions (and controls), the properties of permanent magnetic materials, formulae for calculating all manner of things automotive or the latest advances in autonomous cars youโll find it here in an easily readable format. Gives very detailed information on the sensors, control units, mechanics, science and legislative drivers behind various vehicle components/systems. Plenty of clear diagrams and illustrations which are well placed within the text. Only downsides are the paper isnโt very sturdy for โworkshopโ use, the size of the print is a bit small for middle-aged eyes and the book is not very โpocketโ friendly. Perhaps Bosch could do a โKindleโ or e-pub version next year?

This book is a great reference for every system automotive
Nothing to dislike about this book. If your a engineer of automotive or even product design, this book references materials selection and properties that can be applied to any industry. After owning several previous editions I highly recommend this latest version to all.

Worth every penny.
I got this for all time low and that moment was no less than a eureka moment for me. Also that was only 1 left in stock. Time was 00:45 of 1 June 2025. For many it might be just a book. But for me it's not less than a friend. Also this year I will have completed my 2 year automobile course and I have already been a student of TTEP at Toyota. So I was totally looking forward to buy this. Automotive field has given me a chance to earn money and also an opportunity to become best Technician. So again this book holds a very important place. Alright too much of my personal side. Now pages are completely well stitched and bright. Even black text on white paper feels premium. Some pages also have coloured images. I read somewhere that this 11th edition expands more on Ai and contains more than 250+ knowledge packed pages more than previous. One thing I should tell you that this doesn't contain practicals of any means like how to diagnose the blue smoke from exhaust, checking tappet clearance etc. This book is written for wide range not for technicians only. So If you want to buy for assistance in SAE exams or some practical interview questions format then this is not worth your time and money. I truly give this book 4.7/10 just because coloured images are less and if you can understand that's really not a problem at all when compared to what are you getting overall. Thanks
