I only gave it a 4 because it is little too sensitive I had to deactivate overall movement and it does not support showing the camera on with Alexa. You have to open the app every time.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and thought he could get it installed since he does home improvement work around the house all of the time. Nope. I even printed out the instructions for him and sent him all of the suggestions from previous people who purchased. Nope. Not worth it. I’m sad.

I am a travel nurse, and my housing is selected before I arrive...so sometimes the neighborhoods are a little sketch. After a few incidents left me unsettled, I purchased this device, which has provided me so much peace of mind. It was easy to install, the speaker is loud, and being able to see who is at my door without opening it (no peephole) has been fantastic. I get alerts any time it detects motion, and can also view activity live any time I want. It's been great for verifying deliveries (packages were going missing). I have an indoor camera as well so if my dog is acting funny, I can easily flip to the outside camera to see if something nearby is triggering him. Highly recommend!

The clarity of the doorbell camera is amazing. The motion detection is very sensitive causing the battery life to be short. Have to charge once or twice per week.

So far, the camera has been working excellent. No problems nor complaints at all. I needed wireless cause I don’t feel like running wires threw the house. I did add a solar panel to it and it works well in keeping the battery charged, so I don’t have to remove it, bring it in the house and charge it and then put it back out there. That would be the only thing dumb to me lol, but I made it work to where I don’t ever have to worry about it needing a charge or how long a charged battery last. If it can make it threw the night, it’s go charge up all day and run off solar power until night time.

I LOVE THIS DOORBELL!!! At $100, I think the price is just like the most popular doorbell. Here is why I love it:1) The app that you download allows for multiple phones to get a notification.2) It has a battery backup. If you can see it in the picture (I cannot tell from here), it tells you how much battery is left in the device.3) The picture is super clear!4) I can record video of someone at the door.5) You can do as much or as little as you want! (We didn't want to have someone come and hardwire this into our home until we knew whether or not it would work. That appointment is coming up soon!)6) With the battery pack, it is great for renters (that cannot do permanent changes to their property).Things I have yet to see:Motion detection- It says it has it, but I'm an old broad and have to figure that one out yet. But, I don't blame the device, and with the easy setup,. I will do so soon.Something I find concerning:The easy at which someone can come and pull this off the wall! The only thing that keeps a thief from just pulling this off the wall is a tiny little screw that holds the device onto the base. If a thief came at 0300, when Mama and Papa Bear are asleep, they could easily pull this off the wall and steal it--seems like there is a more secure way to do this. Note: I am not sure this will apply once it is hard-wired.Overall, I think that this is an excellent product for a decent price!
