It’s a dust hose adapter, only has one job
I like that it has a locking ring for the hose on it and that it fits most of my power tools as well as the DF500 Domino that it was intended for.But, end of the day it’s a rubberised hose end and is expensive for that. It only has one job. It does it well but then I’d expect that of a cheap one too.As soon as the Festool brand and colour scheme are applied, multiply price by X factor.
