I bought these for an August trip to Disney World since I know the heat and humid are brutal. We soaked these in the hotel sink before leaving for the park and they worked great. Periodically during the day we ran them under the water to refresh them a little, but the beads stayed pumped up and the coolest around the neck was welcomed. The grandchildren weren't sure about them at first, but they loved the coolness. We also stayed hydrated in the park with plenty of beverage breaks. Where other families were wilting, we seemed to fair better. We all noticed that at the end of the day, we were not as red-faced and exhausted as many other families. My husband loved it so much that he is now using one when working outside and in the garage. I highly recommend these for an outdoor adventure!

Ordered 4-pack. No defects. Soaked in water & they swelled up very quickly. We have used similar ones for years, but they were wearing out. Checked out many others, read a lot of negative reviews, and finally decided to order these based on positive reviews. Happy we have some new ones. We use at the range, riding our motorcycles, and doing yard work.

I try my best to give good reviews when the product deserves it but was very disappointed with this product. It doesn't stay cool for very long and the pellets were not evenly placed. I made sure I followed the directions and they still were unevenly placed. Good thing I didn't spend too much money for them. Don't waste your time or money with this purchase.

First off...these items took over 3 weeks to get to me...bad show. Then when I soaked them in ice water the cooling part was under three inches long...which means it would not even cool the veins in your neck on both sides...just a cheep imitation of a good idea. What’s ever happened to quality products?

They absorb water, but they don’t stay cool unless you put them in the refrigerator (you can’t freeze them it will destroy them) and even out of the fridg they don’t stay cool long :-(

Smooth transaction and fast shipping. However, I followed the instructions and soaked the scarf in ice water for 15 minutes. It swelled up and was nice and cold - for about 10 minutes. Then it went to cool for 10 minutes, then was just wet. Being out in the hot sun with it on, I didn't feel it offered any coolness at all. I was disappointed. I tried it with a second one, had the same results. Don't count on it to stay cool for any length of time if you have to work out in the hot sun for several hours.

Not what I had hoped for. Not what I needed here in the heat of GA. It took quite a while to get the bandana to be where it was supposed to be; it is heavy and bulky; the coolness lasted NO time. On a brighter note: it looked good on the 4th of July. :)

I purchased TWO four packs of these cooling bandanas... only received ONE four pack. I placed two in water in their own tubs... one for me and one for my husband. The second one started leaking the desiccant beads and could not be used... had to throw it away.
