This book worked great with my class
This book worked great with my class. Very similar to the previous edition so if you need to save money, you could get the older one. It's always recommended that if you've been assigned problems to check out the edition on reserve in your college library just to make sure the numbering hasn't changed. This does tend to happen but very easy to fix if you plan ahead.

Easy to keep in a binder. Makes carrying a lot of books easier and lighter. The book itself is easy to read and understand.

TERRIBLE
The book showed up and so far although it seems to have all of it's pages the pages are ruffled and dog eared, theres food smeared on the pages and its just overall in terrible shape. For over 30 dollars I expected quite a bit more.

Brilliant textbook!
Wonderful textbook. I've read about a third of it so far and I'm impressed by the quality of it. Choice of material, clarity of text and figures, conciseness while being fairly detailed, it's absolutely brilliant! Compared with around 10 leading ecology textbooks before choosing this one, and I can assure you none compared to this in terms of clarity, breath of topics covered, and visual design. Highly recommended to any biology undergraduate or any scientifically minded student!Arrived slightly damaged (cover and a few pages), but got a discount from seller, which I really appreciated!

Fast but bad state
Bought this for my studies, came in very fast but... Damaged and with a sticky goo on the sides so I couldn't open the book?! Peeled it off but am not happy about the state of this book.
