Apron is heavy duty with a nylon backing to keep it comfortable. Protects from welding sparks and cuts/sparks from finish grinding and every other manner of sharp dirty stuff. Has many useful pockets, 4 are large enough to carry my 6 inch verniers in their case in the pockets, so its very useful all around the shop, not just welding, but all aspects of fabrication. I keep markers, a tape, a couple squares, calculator and my 6 inch verniers everywhere I go to keep it easy for myself. Its heavy duty, just remember that, so it's going to be heavy and you load it with tools... it will weigh enough to notice for a week or two lol. Nobody said passive weight training was bad lol

This apron is nice and heavy, and will provide good protection while turning wood. Pockets are nice and deep. I can carry most of the tools I need to have at hand. The only thing I don’t care for is the strap system. I find it a bit awkward to fasten at the correct height for me, but I don’t know how it could be made better as it would still have to fasten in the back. Overall I am well pleased with this shop apron. I think it is made well and will last a long time. Great value for the money. I could post a photo but who wants to see an old guy in an apron?! If you look for a turners apron online you will pay twice the price so I am glad to have found this one. I can wear it up high enough that the chips don’t fly down the front of my shirt. It is long enough that it will still go down halfway between my hips and knees (I am 6’2”). The leather is like a suede and is very soft and flexible, making it comfortable to wear even in a long day in the shop. I am well pleased with my purchase.

4.5 stars. Wanted some protection while using a grinder to level out some concrete. Was on my knees and wouldn't be able to get out of the way if something happened and anticipated wearing shorts since it was a summer project. Though I connected a shop vac to the grinder, and took vision and respiratory precautions, I didn't want my clothes to be the first line of defense for spurts of concrete dust that would inevitably be ejected during a poorly timed lift of the grinder. This is thick, uniformly colored, soft (soft "good" not soft as in not durable), pliable where I could fold it under my knees if I wanted. The lining made it heavier and warmer than I would have preferred. I don't have experience with an unlined one, however. I thought the adjustable straps could have been made with a less slippery material, and longer given it's supposed to go to XXXL and I'm XXL. Especially when using it crouched down, you need more width so longer straps would have helped. I did have to stop and put one of the buckles back on a few times as I tried to maximize the width/circumference around my waist until I got the hang of it. You're doing it while the buckle is behind the back, so it's easy to overrun the buckle beyond the length of the strap when adjusting. This apron worked wonders and allowed me to work instead of worry. Skin is no match for high RPM grinding tools, this was a nice line of defense that wasn't needed in that respect. And it is not trivial, that as I pondered protection the day before the project, and a serious hush came over the crowd (ha ha), I came up with this idea and ordered it for early next morning delivery. Are you kidding? AWESOME! As far as dust, I shook the dust out of it. It hangs ready in the garage for the next adventure. I won't name names, but someone in my household thinks it's sexy. So there's that.

Common to all 3: Well organized multiple pockets Shoulder pads for the straps and snap buckle at the rear waist Differences: Fit 1. Fit is slightly different. I am 5’ 6” and 155 lb, and I found that the QeeLink fit me slightly better after adjustment. However, any one of the three fit well enough to be a keeper. Appearance 1. The Fueri has an attractive deep brown color. The Fightech has a light brown color. The QeeLink “brown” has an orange tone to the leather. 2. The Fueri has the split side of the leather facing the body and the liner. The QeeLink has the split side facing away from the body and the liner. The Fightech is not lined. Function 1. The cell phone pocket on the Fightech was too snug to fit my Apple ProMax cell phone with its case. The QeeLink and the Fueri allowed it to fit. The QeeLink has no strap to secure the phone in the pocket. 2. The Fightech has the pencil pocket split into two pockets; the Fueri and the QeeLink have one pencil pocket. 3. The thickness of the leather is close enough to the naked eye to be similar. Because of the fit and the lining, I kept the QeeLink and returned the others. However, the fit will be different for everyone, so you may need to compare them yourself.
