Not impressed packaging was not great and product was banged up and paint is all chipped

Not sure it'll stand up to the task
Let me start off by saying that the packaging is crap. No styrofoam, just individually packaged pieces in their own bubble wrap clinking and clacking in another bubble wrap bag. My shackles were somewhat chipped (the paint). The brackets themselves were not labeled as the instructions mentioned , but no biggie. Easy enough to figure out. Now the welding. That there leaves "A LOT" to be desired. I can't see how they can pull my truck out of a ditch or something with just being connected by one bolt each, on a thin az crossmember.I can't trust these things to work when I need it too. They look like they're designed to be installed for aesthetic reason only. I will still carry my tow hook just in case.On the bright side, my Tacoma looks like it's got some cool dangling bits.Will load pictures tomorrow.

Poor quality parts
They look good, however, the paint/coating quality is very poor. Packaging was poorly prepared. The bracket did not have the labels marked for which side they go on (per included instructions). I have the ribbed ends on the outside ends because of the stock tow hook. Might take that off and flip these brackets around.

Haven't used for recovery yet...but they look good.
It as easy to install as I'd seen online.....if you have a bull bar you may have trouble installing them as well. Also because the welds on my truck weren't as smooth as the ones on the truck in the video it did take me longer to install than I planned. But so far they look great and once I use them for anything recovery related I'll update this review

Chipped Paint
As others have mentioned, the quality control is really bad. Paint was chipped off of both brackets. Weird thing is that there were no paint chips in the individual bags they were in. Clearly the brackets were chipped prior to even being packaged. Small scuff on one of the shackles but not too bad. Overall I'm disappointed and contemplated sending them back but decided to just paint the brackets with some black spray paint. Turned out pretty well. Shouldn't have to do that though.
