I was pleased when i got the LED strip kit, I tested everything out and it works great. It comes with a remote of many colors and fades as well as 2 rolls of Led Strips. It is perfect for lighting up a bar or restaurant for mood lighting. The LED strip can be cut into segments too.This strip if flexible and is black in color so it doesn't stand out like the white ones do. It's what i would describe as a perfect compliment to any room or even your car for mood lighting.The remote makes it very easy to change colors on the fly or dim the lights for a soft warm color effect. I will definitely be getting another set soon. They would look nice in a drum set bass drum when playing out in a band. The are a 12V system so they can be hooked up in a boat, truck, car, or camper. They are also water proof, so if they happen to get splashed on, they will still work!This LED strip by Tingkam has very bright LED lights, with a wide variety of colors and fades and chasing all programmed in the remote. Good quality, and a reasonable price too! I am a very happy customer. I do wish they would include a few connectors in the package, but overall i really like these LED lights.

For this setup I used the kit that comes with two 16.4 foot spools.If you are handy with a soldering iron, this is a fairly easy project!I installed them under the top rail on landscape ties that surround one of my gardens.Using a router I made a channel on the underside of each rail.Then I removed all the sticky tape from the LED strips. Cut the strips to size for each rail, and used silicone to adhere the LED strips into the channel I made on the underside of each rail.For the 70 foot power run, which I placed in conduit, I used this wire: 18AWG Low Voltage LED Cable 2 Conductor Jacketed In-Wall Speaker Wire UL/cUL Class 2 (200 ft reel) Which I doubled up to ensure it would carry enough amps from a 12 volt computer power supply that I used for the power feed. Also ran a network wire in the conduit, and connected an IR repeater: Buffalo Electronics IR Connecting Block (IR-100) And an IR emitter: Buffalo Electronics BEIRE1 IR-E1 IR Emitter, with LED The IR Emitter was attached to the lights IR receiver with a piece of heat shrink tubing.Inside the house with the other end of the network wire I attached a Tube-Style IR Receiver, allowing me to control the lights from inside the house! Buffalo Electronics Tube-Style IR Receiver (IR-350) These IR repeaters work great, using single strand wire they are good for up to a 500’ run, using network wire, and doubling up the connections will get you up to 1000’ run!These strip lights can be can be easily modified, repaired and soldered. The clear silicone that encases the strip can be pulled back and cut off. Then use a razor to scrape the traces to expose the copper and you can solder directly to them. Just remember to cover the solder/connections with clear silicone when using outdoors!

I wanted some strip lighring for our living room, not super bright but not too low either. These are great because I used (3) 5m strips to go almost all the way arpund our living room. Cons are that there are no connectors in the (2) 5m kit to link them so they both have to stem from the same power supply (see photo) so its a little annoying. I just had to order some extra 4 pin adapters that i hope work. Also they are flexible but dont bend well certain ways (also see photo) i used one of the brackets supplied but it doesbt look clean. I tried to bend it carefully and the other half of the strip changed color (clearly i wasnt bending in the right spot). So i had to loosen it . Maybe tube led would be better for what I was doing. Also once the adhesive is on the wall is a pain to try and remove it because the white adhesive strip comes off from the LED and not clean. When i have to take these down I imagine itll be a nightmare.Otherwise they are bright and fun to use for my purposes.

Adhesive is pretty bad just as I expected. The lights themselves are bright and you get nice parts with it. Originally ordered four 5m strips and three of them came broke. After some back and forth with the company they just sent me a replacement batch of strips for free. The lights are bright and look good when they aren't broken to begin with /falling off of whatever you stick them on. It's a cheap set so you get what you pay for I guess

I already own the 1M version of this LED strip (same company, same product, just shorter length) and was very pleased with it. So pleased that I decided to order this 10M strip to be able to use in a few more places around the house.My favorite part about the 10M version is that it comes in two separate 5M reels, which can be connected if you choose, or kept separate. I've decided to keep them separate for the time being, so that I can use them in two different places (shown in pictures below). One I placed behind my TV stand to illuminate the background, and the other underneath my DIY guitar pedalboard. I am extremely pleased with how both of them turned out.The remote is simple and straightforward, as well as the entire setup in general. The strip comes with strong adhesive on the back to make for simple mounting. The adapter that the wall-plug connects to also comes with 3M adhesive on the back to make hiding the wires simple and elegant.The packaging the product came in was nice and organized. All in all, this is a high quality product at an affordable price. Highly recommended.
