Great little drive
Although an SSD it’s performance is not sparkling. I would say it’s better than a USB 3, 5.4k HDD but only just. However, for the money and as a device for backing up my Mac Pro M1 it’s great value for money and pretty robust. If you want a storage device for rapid read write performance I would look else where for example the SanDisk Extreme SSD.

Transform your HDD iMac for £65
Amazing. I re-installed MacOS on this disk instead of the internal mechanical HDD (as someone else has done) and it has turned an almost unusable laggy and slow 2019 iMac into…. a Mac which works as you’d expect. Process took about 4 hours but was pretty really easy via recovery mode (restart and press Ctrl-r) and the migration assistant. Should have done it ages ago!

whilst it works as intended
its only getting 3 stars, why? well as already pointed out by another reviewer its incorrectly advertised.don't get me wrong I brought this half expecting to send it straight back but it does work at standard ssd speeds which is fine for what I wanted and at half the price of a samsung. I just wanted something cheap that was quicker than my old usb sticks and bigger enough to dump everything off them all.over all I'm happy with the product and if not for disingenuous listing info I would give it a 5

Transformed my old iMac into a beast
Used it to revitalise my old 2013 iMac which was running on a slow internal drive, now installed MacOS Catalina on this drive - it's so quick to boot and launch programs. Strongly recommend this drive - not had a single disconnection, lag or anything go wrong with it after several months daily use.

Rubbish
Stopped working after few months, I have been using a Samsung SSD for years and never had any problem. Tried to save by buying MANX but ended it in losing data and disappointment.
