Very satisfied
The media could not be loaded. Not only that my laptop is not losing the internet connection anymore but the internet speed also increased. There is something wrong with my laptop as it keeps losing the internet connection and is not the router as only the laptop has this issue. I tried everything I could find on the internet to solve the issue, driver update and upgrade to windows 10 didn't help so I thought it must be a hardware issue. My laptop kept losing the internet connection a few times a day, every few hours with no reason and only after restarting the laptop I was able to connect to the internet again - so I have decided to try this wireless adapter and I am so glad I did.Since I've installed this device a few days ago my laptop hasn't lost the internet connection not even once and the internet speed also increased, almost doubled. In my video you can see that when I run an internet speed check on Google, the speed without this adapter is 30.1Mb/s. After I plugged the device, left it a few seconds to connect and retest, the speed increased to 55Mb/s, almost double. This device comes with a mini CD with the driver needed to install on your computer in order for this to work.I am very happy with my purchase and I can definitely recommend this wireless adapter.

Very slow Wi-Fi speeds
I bought a 5G usb card for my laptop 4 years ago, I decided to buy a more upgraded version, which in my mind I would’ve thought it would been a lot faster than my old 5G card, I made sure my computer was all up to dated and everything, Then I installed this 5G USB cord I couldn’t believe how slow it is. Definitely not worth the money you take one look at it and check the specs and think you’re gonna be getting something really good. I was really let down by this, it’s a waste of money., My old 5G card seems a lot faster than this one. This is the reason why I gave this product one star, my home wife is 385 MB. And my mobile phone hot spot speed on my iPhone 14 pro max is 895MB 5G but when the USB 5G card is connected to my home Wi-Fi or my phone. The maximum speed I’m getting is 104 MB 😩

Signal continuously drops
Worked great for the first day, bit signal continue drops and takes forever to reconnect. Going through one wall with antennas pointed correctly.

Increases my computer download speed
The media could not be loaded. I don't get many wifi signals in my kid's computer room which affect the browsing and download speed. This EDUP wireless USB dongle plugs and plays so very easy to install. It comes with a CD for drivers but it was not needed as drivers were auto-installed as soon I plug in the PC. After installation, it shows two separate wifi notifications one each for built-in and this external dongle.I notice an increase in browsing and to verify I did the speed check which was giving me a 12.06 Mbps speed on my PC built-in adaptor and when I switched to EDUP dongle the speed increased to 14.84mbps. This is approx a 23% increase in my internet speed so an excellent result.I didn't notice any drop on the internet however this will be future tested during online zoom classes and will keep you posted if I notice any issue. For now, its delivering on its promises⭐️ I do hope this review helped you.

possible QA issues, poor speed values compared to other models
EDUP usb wifi dongle with dual antenna==============================I got quite lucky where I was able to compare the EDUP nano WiFi dongle, against the EDUP mini dongle with single antenna and EDUP usb wifi dongle with dual antenna. All three are supposed to be dual band and all three work across Windows, Mac and Linux. They all come cutely supplied with a mini cd disc for drivers (who even uses cd's these days?)I tested all using the same pc, same location (also located very near the same high speed dual band, high performance Wifi router), and around the same time.No settings were tweaked - just plug and play and take the speed values each unit was registering at.Tested on Windows 10, all three are automatically picked up as "Realtek 8811CU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB Nic".desc stated speed actual current priceusb nano dongle 650Mbps 86.7Mbps 13,99usb mini dongle with single antenna 600Mbs 433Mbps 13,99usb dongle with dual antenna 1300Mbps 173.3Mbps 20,99Note 9 mobile built in wifi module (for comparison in same location) actual speed 780MbpsSo I was expecting the nano dongle to be the slowest, it's obviously not switching to the faster available 5Ghz, but you do get a nano dongle, small and unobtrusive and compares ok against other nano wifi brands, although the unit I had did heat up a fair bit in operation. The usb dongle with a single antenna surprised me. Decent pickup for its size, if you don't mind the antenna it's worth it over the nano dongle. The EDU dual antenna dongle was the most disappointing - expecting another huge increase in speed, it actually drops down in speed from the single antenna model. Either this unit I was sent is faulty or requires tweaking. The EDIP dual antenna usb wifi dongle does outperform the EDUP nano wifi dongle as expected, but for some reason it's unexpectedly slower than the EDUP single antenna out of the box.
