Confusing at first, but now its installed and what a relief after 9 years of dragging the mat back in place.This product is intended to replace the oval grommets with circular grommets. Check your car to see what type you have. If your mats don't match your car, like mine did, the mats will slide around.Installation was a puzzle to me until it clicked. First remove the existing oval pieces off your mat. They may seem invincible, but if you pry with your fingers or a screwdriver from the bottom, they should split open and leave you with a hole. Position your new circular grommets above the hole and sandwich them together. Now you are installed. Make sure you put the top one on top and bottom on bottom, or else you have to snap a piece of it to take it off and try again.Very clean OEM product.

Awesome. Fixed my floor mat issue in my 09 Jetta in under 5 minutes. (Changing the clips themselves took me all of 2 minutes and the other 3 was me vacuuming my floor since I had the mats out). I did not realize when I bought my monster mats that there were two types of clips (my fault) but now they fit perfect. The only tool required was a flat head screw driver. Great product and its Genuine VW!

Likes- These worked perfectly for me. They clipped right in and haven't broken or popped off since I've had them in over a year.Things to be aware of- At first they didn't fit and I couldn't figure out why. Then I realized I had to pull off the bottom piece that didn't fit them so only the stem was remaining. then they clip over the stem itself. I didn't use the bottom half that came with them. I just clipped 'em over the stems and it worked like a charm!

These do not fit the VW '07 Rabbit as it states it does. Requesting a refund and will adjust the feedback as necessary according to the way this company chooses to handle their blatant lie.

I ordered the clips a few months after I ordered the floor mats, they fit perfectly. It was a mistake not to order them with the mats. My daughter had a "Toyota" moment when the mat slipped and interfered with the brake and accelerator. Easy to install and snapped securely onto the post. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the clips I got did not fit my car. When I went back to the original amazon description, I realized that the "fits-list" was somewhat confusing and I should not have ordered them unless I was absolutely positive they would fit. Come to the rescue,, the vendor sent a follow up e mail and I explained the situation. They have offered to swap out the clips for the right one. Way to go Amazon,,,,

I purchased these for a new set of Monster mats I purchased for my bug had the wrong style clips, and some of the clips from the old mats of my 2003 VW Beetle GLX cracked from the cold/ old age. These are the perfect size for my monster mats as they are slightly larger in diameter than the stock clips from my carpeted mats. I may buy a second set in the future for my front mats.
