I contracted a fungus when I was in high school somehow, and I haven't been able to get rid of it ever since. I've tried every OTC product under the sun, aside from lamisil because of its danger. I am so happy to say that I'm finally on my way to beating this thing, and It's only been a few weeks - this stuff is just MELTING the fungus. Here is what I did - I hope it works for you, as this is one of the most pesky and embarrassing things to deal with. My left toe was unbelievable, and you can now see it's finally coming in with a fresh nail. My right toe was getting similar, but I was able to stop it in its tracks as you can see. Both nails are growing in healthy and now it's only a matter of time:pre-step 1) I knew thymol was already a reputable anti-fungal oil, but it's way too harsh for direct skin contact. Not to mention the smell isn't great. I dropped about 10 drops of thymol into the manuka oil to double up on a potential fix, and shake it around quite a bit before applying.1) after shower, run toes under hot water and clean with a harsh face wash. This ensures 100% cleanliness before applying oil hot water to soften up the nail. I think this is super important to ensure that your nails are soft and porous and have the ability to take in the maximum amount of oil.2) Immediately dry toes and apply as soon as possible. I dropped 2 drops on my big toes, and used a brush to spread around and pushed into the crevice between my nails and skin, and surrounding skin. I had no harsh reactions from this combination.3) repeat 1-2 times a day as you see fit. I woke up in the morning with white crust all over my nails, and each time I wiped it off the nails looked better and better. I also did my best to file down the fungus after running toes under hot water to get rid of a lot of the topical buildup.Again, I started this 2-3 weeks ago, and you can already see staggering progress. I don't write reviews ever, but I know the feeling battling this fungus, and I couldn't be happier to finally find a cure. Who knew... just a little oil was all I needed!

I bought this to use in household cleaning spray. I have noticed that there are several companies selling antibacterial cleaning spray with .05% Thymol as an ingredient. Thymol has been shown to kill e-coli, salmonella, etc. on hard surfaces; there have been many legitimate studies proving this. It doesn't take much & it kills fast. My favorite kitchen & bath antibac spray is made by Method. I also really like their all-purpose cleaning spray but that product does not have Thymol as an ingredient. In order to simplify my cleaning routine/products, I just add Thymol directly to the 28 oz. bottle of Method All-Purpose cleaner. I get the cleaning/shining power of the all-purpose cleaner & the antibac properties of the antibac cleaner.This seems like a high quality red thyme oil - Thymus vulgaris; it certainly smells like concentrated thyme oil - whew! Be careful when using these high strength oils. If you use on your skin, you MUST dilute it with a carrier oil or some other benign liquid. You can burn your skin & cause a very nasty allergic reaction. Search online for reputable websites giving advice for dilution. This is not something to take lightly just because it's "natural"; you can do real harm if you are not careful.

Anybody who has a pit bull (Staffordshire Terrier) knows that they have skin issues that drive the poor dog mad with itching and welts and the rash is very frustrating and difficult for the people that love them because it's very stubborn. I also wrote a review for this brand of oregano oil because I used both in the treatment. I used two drops oregano oil, one drop thyme oil to about a tbl baby oil and rubbed it onto her cleaned skin before bed and in the morning the results were amazing and I'm continuing it for a week to be sure it's really gone. I didn't get results like this from the vet!On a different note, I bought the thyme oil for my toe nails that now thanks to a pedicure have a fungus and I've heard about thyme oil on People Pharmacy on NPR. What convinced me this would work is when I had my crawl space totally overhauled due to a mold problem after it was gutted they sprayed thyme oil on Everything to defungify the crawlspace before sealing it in plastic and installing a dehumidifier system.That's an endorsement for thyme oil to me.

Great Product, I like it alot. I have trouble with adult onset acne, but hate using harsh chemicals on my skin that only irritate it further. I previously made an infused oil with other ingrediants, then I found out the Thyme is great for acne, so I purchased this and added into my oil for my face and am very pleased with the results, it has really added to the effects of my homemade moisturizer. I have also used it to help with some cuts and skin irritations for my huband and it has worked well for him as well. I have only had for a week or so, but have enjoyed it and found it very useful so far.NOTE: like any essential oil, DO NOT put this on your skin undiluted, it is not a pleasant experience (yeah... I actually tried that and it wasn't fun...), it's best when blended in small amounts of with almond oil, olive oil or jojoba oil (I am sure there are more oils it's good with, those are just my three "staples" I keep on hand. This stuff is powerfull, a little goes a long way!!
