I use this instead of the chop fiber and works like a champ, thickens you resin to very workable consistency, however do not breathe the dust, not good for your lungs. Always use your respirator when using this material.

I am an artist that works with multiple mediums, and one of them is epoxy. I wanted a thickener to use in my epoxy to make 3D whipped cream and potions around the top of my epoxy tumblers. This worked brilliantly. The amount of thickener you use really varies depending on how thick you want the epoxy, and the amount of epoxy you are working with. For my smaller cup projects, this tub will last me quite a while, and I am loving the results. This thickener is the best value I have found for price, quantity, and efficacy.

I bought this expecting to do all kinds if cool stuff with it after going down a rabbit hole on YouTube… That said… I still have not done more than open the container several times and close it back up. It came quick and appears to be top shelf. Anything beyond that would be a made up story. Sorry but it is true. Still, I think it is probably great. 🤣

This worked but was kind of clumpy. Rustolium metallic gold paint is very runny and hard to work with. This did make it less so.

I can't always get really "flat" paint for small touch-up latex samples. "Matt" samples are not perfectly flat paint and shine on pre-painted surfaces. The silica powder kills any sheen and makes the latex samples thicker for drip free applications on ceilings or walls. I mix the silica and latex in small tins and let sit for a minute or two before applying. I little goes a long way, use fractional teaspoons per ounce of paint.

Perfect for thickening paint.

I ended up not using it. But as advertised.
