Dimmer than OEM but they look great in a clear housing. They would probably be unsafe in anything but a transparent housing, but are definitely bright enough in my OEM 2005 Pontiac GTO's tail lamp housing. I have bought these on multiple occasions and quality is above average (which is not saying much in the chrome bulb category), but the latest pair has a bulb out after 13 months of use which is not acceptable wear had I not bought 3 or 4 pairs of these in the past with multiple years of use on average.I will not be purchasing again however, as LED bulbs accomplish the same aesthetic task with 90%-99% of the look (no egg yolk) and are brighter than stock. You probably do have to buy an alternative flasher unit to avoid hyper flash with LEDs, but it's not much more expensive. One thing you don't think about is the illumination speed of this style bulb vs. LED. Besides being dimmer, halogen bulbs take a split second longer to illuminate vs. immediate for LEDs, which can make a difference from a safety perspective.

First off, these chrome/amber(output)bulbs should only be used in a clear lens housing. I just put them in my BMW 330ci, single post, offset pin matches to the 7507 fitment of the originals. Straight pin could work but to would have to mess with them to get them in, like some have mentioned early. Order the offset pins and do it right. Light output is less than the standard/stock amber 7507 bulb so don't expect them to be brighter. I love the look of them behind the clear lens, so I just ordered another set for the rear blinkers. I'll add photos when I get them next week.

If you're not looking for bulbs are over the bright, these are it. And I say that in a good way. I put these in my E46 and they blend in well with the housing no bright orange reflecting. They work great and since my Amber's are my drls they're not overly bright and that's very nice.Would recommend.

These chrome GP Thunder amber colored lights worked great on my 2006 Mercedes c280. I love how the lights disappear during the daytime and glow bright amber when the lights are turned on at night. Mine have lasted a long time without need of replacing. I will buy these little gems again in the future.

They appear slightly dimmed when compared with OEM - 2015 BMW X3 probably due to silver coating. They lasted for about a year before one of them died. Due to decreased light intensity decided not to replace them with the same brand, I went with LED solution instead for the same $.

It is not as bright as you might want. For me, I need to look for something brighter. I would not necessarily recommend getting this product. Good thing is it does what it said with regards to hiding the 'egg yolk' look if you are using standard bulbs.

Those light bulbs are not bright enough. One barely see them blinking in day light.. Reverting to my previous bulbs. If you want others to see that you're turning, stay away from those.

Used this on my e46 blinker bulbs with clear housing. Look so clean now with the lights off.
