I love muse so of course I liked this album. However, specifically on the I feel like it’s Halloween song there’s a segment of the song where the song will miss a beat for a second. I’m not sure if that’s the vinyl or my vinyl player but I’ve listened to it on a vinyl player and on my phone and there’s different a part the vinyl misses for a second

Great quality, quick delivery

I think this has to be one of the best vinyls that muse have made. The album feels experimental with touches of their older traditional rock roots like in the track Won't Stand Down as well as Kill Or Be Killed. I loev the new experimental feel of this album with classic rock, more EDM dance as well as minimal piano all being explored in the same album. BUT MOST OF ALL. This vinyl has one of the best album covers I have ever seen. And as a graphic designer I can fully appreciate the work Tiago Marinho has done.

Fantastic album. The vinyl is a lovely glossy deep Red, it tracked perfectly without a pop or a click.Usual amazing MUSE production with for me, the standout track being 'Compliance'. The whole album just resonates with what has been happening in the last couple of years.The only fly in the ointment for me is no download code or Amazon autorip. For the price of vinyl I would have expected at least one of the options. However, this doesn't detract from the quality of the music or the vinyl itself.

Fantastic album. A mix of their different styles throughout. Love the over-the-top rock operatics of Kill or Be Killed, the Knight-Rider-esque Compliance and the protest-stomp of the title track. Bloody marvellous!

So Muse have decided to embrace their speed metal side and combine it with some rather synth-heavy, almost Nashville country-like compositions, and then record them on a single album. It’s almost as though they’re running out of ideas and are so combining previous, once-innovative creative decisions with pre-existing genres they’ve lightly touched upon in the past, in the vain attempt to come up with something novel and interesting.Couple the actual compositions to the rather lacklustre vinyl release (it really is somewhat cheap and cheerful for a band of this stature), and we may well be witnessing the decline of the innovative and ground-breaking band we all came to love.Furthermore, it is highly unfortunate that the pressing quality is rather poor (was Chris Gehringer encouraged to squash the life out of it by some cloth-eared A&R person at Warners, perhaps?), the dynamics are lacklustre - typically Serban Ghenea, in other words! - alongside his trademark overly-busy mix-time gimmicks, the engineering woefully congested, and the overall production values lacking any real musical direction, concept or guiding light.Unfortunately, this is typically what seems to happen when bands get so big they’re allowed to produce themselves: decisions are inevitably and unavoidably taken which are myopic and self-serving and an album concept drowns in the blinkered vanity of its creators.This would be a reasonable first release or sophomore follow-up but, given the incredible heritage and the manifest greatness we know Muse are capable of, this is a below par release with mediocre songs, a lack of an holistic approach, and overly-produced recordings which showcase little of the latent musical talent and performance prowess we know Muse posses.My advice, for what it’s worth: get yourselves a producer whose focus is solely on the music and will set you right when you veer off course; employ an engineer who has some decent audiophile chops; and rid yourselves of the likes of Serban Ghenea who appear to stamp their own production authority all over the music of the artists he works with.Disappointing.

This is a great album, very dynamic and typically musical with driving bass. Well packed, no warping and the red vinyl looks cool on the turntable.

I started my collection in the 60s so sticker shock was a factor. Vinyl has always been my preferred choice so I’m returning to my roots. The quality of music and the vinyl itself are both excellent. I have several of their recordings and like them all. This is no exception. I’m no critic but I know what I like.
