I had planned to try out the vanilla version but read multiple reviews saying they chocolate was far better and many reviews were raving about the excellence of this product. I have tried a fair few vegan protein powders of the years, my preferred so far is probably by Vega, and whilst this is certainly decent I didn't experience it as anything special. The flavour was compatible to many other chocolate protein powders although if using only water to blend it rather than milks/ bananas etc it was perhaps just slightly better than some brands. I have never had too much trouble with digestion of protein powders in general, so those who really struggle with that issue are perhaps the buyers that are seeing most benefit but for me this is a decent quality, but for the hype I've seen in reviews I expected something really impressive & was left very underwhelmed. My son found it edible in his porridge so he is using it for that and I have gone back to a high quality powdered collagen which provides pure protein without the weird flavour or carb and fat content that comes with this, likely will not repurchase.

The thing that always stopped me enjoying proteins, especially the plant based ones is that they were always grainy and gritty, I’m not exactly sure how they make these shakes but it definitely tastes like they use sand. So when I saw honest earth on Amazon their tag line ‘it doesn’t taste like sand’ made me laugh so I decided to check them out and ordered a pouch. When it arrived the first thing I noticed is it smells amazing, very natural And no artificial or weird smell. I blended it with a frozen banana and oat milk, it was incredible. Super tasty, super smooth and as promised… no grainy bits!! I saw a couple of reviews where people said it doesn’t blend well, in my honest opinion they mustn’t have followed the instructions on the back of the pack which says ‘300ml of your fav milk and 3 tablespoons of honest earth protein powder. I even saw one guy who said it had hemp in it, it definitely doesn’t. The base protein and only protein in all of honest earths products is pea protein, this just goes to show some people do not read the instructions or even the ingredients. Take time to read the instructions, you’ll be blown away by this product.

This is by far the best protein I’ve found on Amazon Uk. There are so many proteins to choose from where does one start, some of them look great but if you dive into the ingredients they usually contain some nonsense that is far from good for you, like xanthan gum, xylitol, guar gum or some other unnatural sounding ingredients. I’ve had my fair share of proteins and nearly all of them would cause me stomach upset. Honest earth is a rare beast in that not only does it taste great and blend well, it doesn’t contain a single non natural ingredient, it contains digestive enzymes so I didn’t get any bloating or gas whatsoever so this is a big plus. This is a protein brand that’s hard to beat, I highly recommend it and I’m someone who’s tried almost every vegan protein there is.

I’ve tried my fair share of protein powders for making my post workout protein shakes. Vegan and non vegan ones, I’d say I’ve tried more than 15 different brands over the space of about 3 years. All of them caused my stomach to inflate like a birthday balloon, and it’s just super uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that sometimes I just couldn’t face having the shake after my workout because I knew I was going to be bloated from it. A friend of mine recommended I try honest earth protein because it contains 3 really important digestive enzymes that help break down protein shakes which are typically quite fibrous. I was amazed, I didn’t get bloated at all. I’ve been using jo eat earth for about 3 months now, it’s definitely my go to brand. I just hope they make more flavours going forward. Love this brand, can highly recommend it!

Please do not buy this if you are looking for a good tasty powder.This is too much a terrible thing, such a stupid taste.Spoiled my day !!!!!
