If you're looking for a 2-legged hi-hat stand to make room for double bass pedals (or to simply free up room for your snare stand) without spending a lot, look no further. This stand is made quite sturdy by a lateral third leg that extends beneath the pedal, to brace it against the floor. The two legs & tube are reasonably burly for a hi-hat stand at this price. It rarely budges no matter how rough I am on it, and it's never even come close to tipping over. The tension of the opening-closing mechanism can be adjusted to your taste. It's very nice to be able to angle the hi-hats towards yourself, as well -- the angle is slight, but it makes a big difference in both playability and reach. Visually matches any tier of Speed Cobra bass pedal(s) well, if that matters to you.

This hi-hat stand was a good news / bad news situation. The good news is that it's a killer hi-hat. It's TAMA hardware, and that goes without question. The bad news is that it arrived slightly damaged. That is, the stabilizer "leg" (the almost invisible third leg underneath the foot-pedal), was slightly bent upward and caused the hi-hat to wobble. It took over a week to arrive (when 2-day shipping was promised) and I was unwilling to wait another week or more to get another one. So, with a small wooden shim and some duct tape, it's fixed, and works great. Not an optimal experience, but still a first-rate high-hat. For all I know the shipper (UPS) was the culprit here. But all's well that ends well.

I have the Iron Cobra 2 leg hi-hat stand and needed another one for giging and practice sessions. Personally I prefer this hi- hat stand to the Cobra. Tama corrected some issues with this model, however the clutch is not one that I prefer. It’s the only thing that I don’t care for on the 315 hi-hat.

Could not ask for more with adjustable foot pedal as well as one less leg to deal with trying to fit it in next to your left double base pedal Also has multiple levels for tension define the sweet spot.

I had Stagg stand, but always had issues with the "rod" coming loose. On an e-kit it really matters, as the zones on the opposite side do not function (normally when the logo is). Even though this Alesis ( Strike. Pro SE) hi-hat only has one cymbal, it really made a difference in the action. I've been learning on this kit for a little over a year, and I wasn't expecting this added benefit. I also allows me to have the hi-hat in a higher position. The Stagg was very short (to me). Oh, forgot about the stability also. Went from a tripod to this. Just as stable!

Llego a tiempo y bien empacado

Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimale. Comodo per passare al doppio pedale e al foot- switch. L'asta è stabile, il piatto resta un po'inclinato, ma penso sia normale su questo tipo di asta( prima volta che uso una due gambe), comunque non mi da fastidio. È stato consegnato con un giorno di anticipo rispetto alle previsioni.
